I love Aston because it's great people, great opportunities.
Lots of clubs and societies.
Even the Guild - there's so many societies, everyone can get involved.
A place to meet new people, try new things.
That camera there? I've joined the Spanish Society, the German Society...
There's a lot of activities to do - there's the sports centre...
Pretty much, I like the sporting culture in Aston.
Well we're part of the women's football team!
Since I've come here I've skydived, I'm part of the Ski Society...
It's a brilliant way of meeting new people by joining societies. There's loads of societies at Aston you can get involved with...
...started playing squash for the first time...
I'm actually going to be president of the Spanish Society next year...
I lived off campus but I still felt included in all Aston activities, especially during Freshers...
It's really nice because I met so many different people - there are so many international students here
and I was able to experience so many different cultures.
We have a system called Aston Aunties where
during Freshers, you get second or third years showing you around and helping you mingle and socialise.
When I first came to the Uni, the Aunties were helping everyone...
...and I found that extremely useful.
I'm enjoying myself and I like the diversity here - that's the essential part.
You know, there's a lot of community, there's a lot of things to do and
you never get bored and it's just a great uni, really.
And that's why I love it.
