Hey everyone! So I'm back with quite a different video from what I usually do. It's going to
be a haul! I've never done one before and I hope you're going to like it! So I've been
pretty obsessed with Ayurveda these days. I think it's a wonderful philosophy, and I've
been reading a lot about it, which led me to order some things. If you follow me on
Instagram, you would have seen my mini haul from a health shop a few days ago. I made
three different orders from eBay and Amazon as well. I got 7 things in total, so that's
what I'll show you today! Let's jump right in. First of all, I got the sesame oil, and
I got this mainly for oil-pulling. I used to do that for almost a year, and then for
some reason I stopped. Now I really want to restart again. Actually, I restarted already
couple of days ago, and I love it so much! Sesame oil is the most traditional oil for
Ayurveda. Then in the same shop we got something for my husband. That's henna, natural henna...
natural hair dye, and this is for dark chestnut brown hair. I didn't tell my hubby the truth
but... I didn't tell him the truth that it's actually a hair dye, so it's going to slightly
alter the colour of his hair. Basically, all he wanted was just to get rid of... well,
not to get rid but just to prevent the grey hairs from appearing on his head. But this
thing is actually going to colour his roots, so let's see what happens! Actually, my next
video will probably be a fun video of my husband and I trying out henna together for the first
time, so keep an eye out for that! Then a while ago I also received 1kg of soap nuts,
and these are great! I actually bought them for laundry, a natural laundry detergent.
And I've already tried them for that, they're brilliant! But I also realized that you can
use them for so many different things, for example, for washing your dishes or even for
washing your hair. And I'll tell you something! I've been experimenting with that - washing
my hair with soap nuts, and I absolutely love it! So expect quite a few videos from me about
these natural Indian Ayurvedic remedies in the future. I've got a lot to say about that!
So I told you about my hubby's wish to use henna to dye his hair. I actually got my own
henna as well, but this one is neutral henna. It's actually called Cassia Obovata, but it's
commonly known as neutral henna, simply because it doesn't have any colour or nearly any colour.
So it's very good for those with blonde and light hair. So I bought this to strengthen
my hair because I've always had quite dry hair and I really want to change it. I haven't
tried it yet but I read that you have to use it every 4 weeks, so I think I'll probably
use it maybe every month, for 2 or 3 times, and that should be enough. It's great for
preventing hair loss, for getting rid of dandruff, for getting your hair thicker and stronger,
more shiny, so I'll definitely use that kind of as a mask or as a treatment. But if it
gives my hair any nice golden highlights, that's even better! So let's see how it comes
out! Just watch my next video, and you'll see what happens! Oh, by the way, every single
thing I mention in this video will be down in the description box, so just check it out
after you finish watching the video. So the next thing I got was the Shikakai powder,
and that's another Indian herb. This one is another natural way to wash the hair, just
like the soapnuts, which in Indian is called Reetha. You an either use this alone, you
can use soap nuts alone, but you can also mix them together and get the nicest, gentliest
shampoo in the world. It also makes your hair really nice and shiny. So I'll definitely
try that next. Then of course you wouldn't imagine an Ayurvedic hair care routine without
neem powder, so I got some of that. And neem is great for preventing any scalp problems,
dandruff, itchiness, hair loss and it makes your hair stronger in general, so let's see
if it does any good. I'll keep you updated! And I'll definitely be making videos about
all of these because I think they're just incredible. I also got Amla powder, and Amla
is kind of like a natural conditioner. So you can mix that together with the Shikakai
powder and soap nuts, all three together would make the most amazing shampoo and conditioner
all in one. So I'll definitely try that. Amla is also great because it prevents grey roots,
so that's very good for those of you worried about that. And it just makes your curls more
defined, which is great for curly or wavy haired people like me. I can't wait to try
it. I've heard so many great things! So I guess that's it, and I'm just really excited
to try. The cool thing is that all these things are anti-bacterial and all of them fight all
kinds of scalp problems, so I think it's going to be a great thing for all of you!I discovered
these things simply because I was experimenting and trying out a lot of different ways, trying
to find something for those of you that are afraid to try baking soda and vinegar or have
tried and it didn't work for you. I knew I had to find something else. I went and tried
soap nuts before, and I have to say I probably like it as much or even more than baking soda
and apple cider vinegar. So I'm very excited, and I'll definitely keep you updated. Thank
you very much for watching. If you like this video, then please give me a thumbs up, and
I'll see you next time! Bye!
