uh... terry would you please call the roll
steep here justice right
there
estimate bigan here tested here
president ridder
and uh... i we will rise to a pledge of allegiance so it looks like no
invocation i don't see pastor phil fears
i pledge allegiance to the flag
all united states of america
into arlo or resistance more nation
undergrad
inevitable liberty and justice for all
the bank
uh... we have uh... one proclamation this evening
proclamation recognizing october two thousand paul this breast cancer
awareness month in the village of carpenters film
sometimes i pass these two other trustees or trustees to read
uh... but in this case that
chosen the reader myself esos control close to home for me so
whereas the american cancer society recognizes a month of october is breast
cancer awareness month
and it is estimated one out of every eight women will develop the disease in
the course of a lifetime and dedicates time talent and resources to educating
the public on prevention and detection of the disease
and
whereas national breast cancer awareness month remains dedicated to increasing
public knowledge about the importance of early detection of breast cancer
diagnosis and treatment
and where as many women still do not utilize mammography at regular intervals
even though research indicates it is the best available method of detection
and whereas the village of partners though is aware of the importance of
this campaign
and purchase the plates in sending out it's several key messages most notably
the importance of early detection through annual mammography screening for
women over forty and
presidential brett national cancer institute estimates in the united states
more than two hundred thousand new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed this
year
and nearly forty thousand lives will be claimed and
whereas we stand by our family and friends and recognize all who have
joined their loved ones in fighting this battle as well as advocates researchers
and health care providers whose care
and hard work gives hope to those
living with breast cancer
by educating ourselves in supporting innovative research we will improve the
quality of life revolve those affected by breast cancer
and one day
defeat this terrible disease
now therefore i generator present on the village of partners phil do hereby
proclaim october
two thousand twelve is breast cancer awareness month and the builder partners
bill
be it further proclaimed
at the village of car printers fill orders all women and their families to
get the facts about breast cancer
and join in celebrating all success and to memorialize lost battles
signed and dated at the village of partners okhane county illinois this
second day of october two thousand paul
at river village president
very serious
matter and
one deserves to be
attention of every village residents
appointments confirmations in administrations of both
by this evening i would like to recommend
denise us to be put on the partners will parks commissioner had like the motion
promotion upset wasn't a second that
any discussion
terry call role please drastic early
trusteeship yes systemic bacon yes jesse helms or else trustee teeter yes
denise is here this evening could you stand up web single you voted for
all right
president it is financing it that straight
phil every seat and the commission
should commission yeah saw but i'd also point out that you do chup
volunteers calling out to be like i don't work committee
they won't be on the actual committee but they will be
uh... happy to have volunteers work convert projects
and i think that puts all over
commissions at full strength down that's great
getting more and more people willing to be a part of the village in and help us
with projects and so forth
they uh...
the next would be public comments
no comments this evening
consent agenda all items listed on the consent in gender or considered to be
routine by the village borden
and will be enacted by one motion
let me know separate discussion those items list trustees all requests
in which you get the item will be removed from the general order of
business includes entered and it's a normal sequence on the agenda
on the items to be moved remove before we go ahead
act like an imperial oats
and be rally
he sorry
coming here in italy but
obtained item the will be removed uh... any other ***
latency
items c
and sian
he you will be removed from ocean sickened some in general
out arguments
affect them
they motion second all favor
tidak
most here's a colorado
i guess we have to go back i'm sorry when i got carried away their terry we
need a roll call one dash go ahead
restful
yes customink again
yes trustee hampered us fifty spirit guest tested early
item c_ is a resolution accepting an agreement with the consultant services
sub
supplement number one with baxter and woodman incorporated for additional
phase two engineering services for the maple avenue improvement project in the
amount of fifty thousand two hundred and three dollars
made a motion almost impossible
most incase second that discussion
uh... writing remove this and i don't want to read about it
are actually what i'm looking for is a little bit more of an explanation there
and mister roni if you could
kind of fertilized and i got a little
turned around when i was reading that no
didn't really uh... under fiscal impaired by understand the poor well
you know we saw some designs stuffs
you know we had to redo and
relocated
but the fiscal infected you explain a little bit further
well aren't uh... the physical impact it still
were still savon
uh... close to it
to learn
thousand dollars over the next lowest bidder for the phase two engineering
okay but they had to do as they came back and they've recently asked for
sixty eight thousand
management staff
and public works worked with them and said no
you know we don't agree with this we don't agree with that
there's problems with it are green space one engineering movement
on certain aspects not
it's very technical what they had to redo and there was a conflict in the
uh...
uh... the water main main distribution line will count as a primary function
and they had a reshoot some grades
to ensure that the
driveway approaches along maple avenue would
not be too steep
uh... from what states one and that
oftentimes in phase one engineering is
rele ralph skidded out the door and then yet to fine tune
construction documents and with
i dot requirements people give you a lot of other refinements in the face to
engineering agreements
and so
stepping back and said this is the dollar amount we recommend but we're
still
even what the fifty thousand were still
close to three hundred thousand cheaper than the second
united states to engineering and not did his kind of a
and use that very broadly because you don't have to get out professional
service like a law firms aren't engineering firms
but so it's it's been vetted
prequel slim
this will allow us to go forward
with the maple avenue project and still try to get the job
started early spring
plaza sudan open up by war point out
normally in a project like this
the right away is our secured by the engineering firms
adult cost
uh... instead of having and you've read
engineering from doing our staff is taken care of the right away is at least
as much as we can which saves us considerable model money because we're
going to be in the house instead of paying somebody else to do the work
that's a kind of
thing that uh...
our staff has been doing to try to keep costs down an unfortunate once a while
we have new cost but
part of part of the game is such a big project they're going to be things like
this done
come up and you just have to put on them
absolutely take care of my thinking probably uh... yes
more curious thank you
anywhere else with comments paul
was a retarded read that this was for maple avenue that we've been discussing
at the beginning of the site as well make sure that that was clear and in
europe so folia well it's really a in america i think i read it
that's what makes sure that
audience knows on television and today
reviewers report reconstructed
star next big project with them
weekly but someone who
take care of that this is the last orbit row projects at this point
any other discussion
just to show
testing fade
steven this didn't here enough u_s_
next will be out in the woods steve need a motion
a motion also can
motion case second appol
discussion
the senate's just wondering if
found manager running would be so kind as to
uh... explained
the age of andrew and
why we need to start paying more attention to it and consequences if we
can
for hons this just essentially the
you know the building was constructed in nineteen seventy eight was dedicated
there's been some
repairs to this
restructure over the years but this is substantial
uh... repair that's been identified as part of the renovation we found that
there was a lot of small leaks
the flashing
and uh...
director call has negotiated with
multiple grossing
firms to get a good price inequality
not just the
lowest-cost but to make sure it's
fixes the problem and states
with the good warranty
main ideally we would it would cost
seven figures almost
i redo the whole world from some of it
issues in the basement but bob is
bradbury cost cost-conscious over the years
to just do what we have to do
and i think this one
will finish up the immediacy of any issues that we know of
on the roof
i mean we could go into being you know the windows around the village hall
from nineteen seventy eight at some more
that you replace is going to be ongoing maintenance
cycle welfare commercial review you know angulated and they were trying to do is
paying now so we don't pay for
other problems arise because we didn't take care of things
and deferred maintenance but this
the severity of price too
to handle an issue that's before it gets to be large problem
to recall role please
trusteeship yes
and anything again
testing
yes ice-t_ here
testify
union reports nine mark
yes we have uh...
the table on the left her and trav
at one time
joe go first thing i i i unless i'm jonathan adnan
well right the uh...
the news of the weekends is i'm sure all of your very much aware as we did
receive a development application from walmart stores
instances has begun the review of that at this point it's a mechanical review
all will only get things ready for launching piet go through the plan
commission
and at this point we're looking at some of the standard issues uh... days as we
do with any development number parking spaces
engineering stormwater management uh... traffic excess egress and so forth
uh... but it's uh... certainly an exciting week for carpenters felt
and also uh... it's a good time because of that uh... nice having put in plug
for october fast coming up sunday october fourteenth
ten a_m_
at uh... carpenter park
uh... initially the rate the uh... cyclocross race is a good start earlier
but mostly the veterans from ten a five
and it's gonna be a great time we've gone live entertainment of beer garden
uh... the inflatable muse plans for the children as well as this year we've got
a uh... children's petting zoo which should be fun for the little kids
uh... disturb you great time and all we need is good weather so
thank you very much
in connection with the president ritter's proclamation that the board
test tonight
uh... the village and also the village rather than just the fire department
uh... villages once again doing they're pink t-shirt campaign
uh... what we've done this year is all the board members have seen in we try to
get out in the press how we've come up with one design village wide below the
village low on the front chest you know the combination please and fire low on
the back
we're selling those through friday we want to order a month friday uh... so we
can get them by the fifteenth
and manage rooney is authorized all staff members a police fire anybody that
purchases one oregon has last year's can wear it between the fifteen th in the
thirty first
chief poppies and i was offices where monitor fasts if they purchase one
so we wouldn't be visible as president weirded say that's important
and then the first born in november will be before you make some presentation to
to local hospitals like we've done in the past
uh... that the funding does help the cancer victims but they are on sale
point and uh... one final item
would recognize
chief pop but uh...
to pop in the finance director hillier here we'll have the
open housing for the renovations that taken place in
both first and second floor of this building
on october fourteenth the morning of
first races will be open it
about noon
to show the public that wants to walk through and see some stuff behind the
scenes
that they might not normally see
wet and the changes in what we
cost-conscious changes that have been made improvement
like the life of this building
we had before and after pictures we should
decided not to that we do have some of those i mean this eric
characters
i mean eric is our buildings and grounds superintendent he is just
all employees do a great job is new
here in new reason employer to the village
he has been
one of the best hires a thing
that i've been a so shade with
making an immediate impact in saving dollars to the taxpayer with some of the
stuff that he was able to do
with the skill sets that we didn't know we had
so they start working here
he's just been very organized and very
co-operate to work with the chin every department and minimize the disruption
of working on a building of the still have to
services
look for the same folks come out that day if they can't figure for october
fests in october cross
one of this building open as well and
display both
will mainly down it oktober
test will have the new and what's the new fire engine
squad cars
that vernal recently purchased so
that will be available and i don't know if john
it's now a by the talk about that
vehicle
event that one on it
a cancer springhill long-deserved
this past saturday uh... we work in conjunction with western b
fire and may sprinkle malt into a touch a truck
uh... win over forty different type vehicles that spring hill mall you base
of the advertisement from tow trucks to cranes to military equipment
uh... to fire to police uh... and then the home depot was they're doing crafts
with the kids
in addition down the mall let's put two vehicles inside the mall which we
haven't done uh... for about ten fifteen years since the renovations because of
the kiosk is
so we're able to put our new window once unless and he put it on fire engine and
uh... they were overwhelmed with the amount of people that came through the
mall
and went through the touch a truck
uh... he was
it was a joint effort by a lot of other fire departments
police departments and other agencies
and um... we hope to be criminal bent
well with west indian interpersonal
but the mall was very appreciative to what we work with them
you have a question
yeah i had one question for chill uh...
general uh... are you were in the leader of the mission of the appa ok when i
heard i don't know absolutely and i think i'll bring my accordion alice
although according to craig some before that's all i can
but for faster than a
you'd want to ask one question some
officers of someone there to explain
because someone thank you c_n_n_ active utilize uh... how much of an impact they
have on the police department like the different
interview rooms on the
report writing rooms so that i assume though you'll have somebody there they
can
that receive elena throughout silly just can
lead people ask questions
shall answer yes or was resigned i know we're all proud of the way that it looks
nicer
but that still that wasn't what we spent the morning to use to make things more
functional
better customer service
and also
keep our police officers safer
because there were situations in our old jail that did not lend themselves to
safety for the officers or the prisoners
and so all this heidi gather
uh... works on this customer service and also safety of our police officers
and in the building
pollyana commented either questioned or joe to but it was papa wal-mart drawings
that you sent us
and uh... uh... one of the things i saw it
uh... and i know it's very early in his very preliminary book
the entrance into the facility for
the site of ones
and see an access there
and i saw the main interests of the doable but down from that access into
the walgreens at supper corner
i think there'd be a good place to have access to soul uh... makes it easy for
cars to get into into the facility
that's a big parking lot that's for sure supply one the biggest ones i've ever
seen
if they if i may respond uh...
that's specially one of the uh... very uh... strong points that the carpenters
toll cation offers
uh... at that uh... location between
between the state highway and and lake marion road that that uh... wal-mart has
a number of locations and yes i believe there's actually a to within the lake
mary inside so but we will follow up with that
cuz i saw the detention on introducing a road and solely still
uh... does run at a oportunidade answers to that
through that area
other than awful
what looks like to be the extension for maple
cutting uh... you one other thing to know what it is in the sounds of the
seasons on comcast are featuring polka music told deficit dominate
don't bother them
k
anything from
business development
uh... yes we actually town had our meeting of course and um...
stamp has been working on a new business checklists that was
the commission members reviewed and give some feedback so they can make some
minor adjustments
when they had one that we've been kinda come up with before bed
joe and they went through and streamline things and so they will actually be
sitting out of course
which they've restarted
with each developer mark enter their process um... there also on in the
process of stanford developing in-house marketing brochure solely as we are
growing and developing and looking at
places that we have to develop
adhesive route twenty five l two thirty one randall road having something
different for each area to feature those uh... areas so they're working on
something already internally so i wanna thank them for that
and coordinating those marketing efforts with the database here www looking that
away to be able to get too
a database is going to be a process of taking a look at some of those things
and arm
jill one is that um...
she's like my
so one of the
um...
some and it's gonna be firm king county that you'll be telling attending ranjith
recurring realism
bill developments jillian that coming up so tomar nightmare returned i error
uh... pulpit and and and and should be a quality program at sponsored by kane
county
and increase enters are from the european trip to
and it's looking at the possible we use of developments that that uh... for one
resort another failed
and uh... there's there's quite a reaction that uh... distant in our
community here but uh... as many communities and carpet and uh... kane
county or participating that that looks like it'll be great program and
hopefully it's something that we can learn from it
cell and i will forward them i just want to commend determines hold that then of
course children looking and reaching out to find information is a cancer
and bring it back to the community and to our commission
and sharing that information and uh... they're still working on the whole town
area its
you know it's not like really active but there still is communication with
the dundee township found any township park district the forest preserve about
interconnecting bike trails
so even though there's not a lot campaign what we're seeing here
there are things that are going on behind the scenes and they are working
on that so i just wanted to give them credit for the effort at their
already doing and then bring her things and sharing them with commission
soul uh... i think that's
and that's about it although we didn't go and visit your local business john i
went out reached out we've been hearing some concerns
so we went and visited that local business and
because they were kind of
i guess complaining is the right word but uh...
to people who are coming into their establishment about how the villages
that helping them
with things and it was really a good position to where
really is a village can do anything until they work with their landowner
sold we went to do some clarification at least address let them know we'd
care about their concerns and that we're willing to work with them but
there's some first steps first and see what we can do that way suite b dilleys
appreciate that we took the time to come out
to visit with them so if they're any other businesses that have questions or
concerns
antec killed first
not
and where more than happy to come out and visit and see what we can do it and
increase communication
baby there is something that we can do
cell just wanted to share that as well
it
well it's a net nanny report
untested their next tax committee meeting will be next monday at six
thirty
uh... at the public works out
uh... facility
and a uh... human testing required would like to report and the training session
on saturday
somehow hope for that
read anything from depts
and
of fraud in finance well we had a meeting on september twenty seventh
um... i think uh... we went over the draft of the true replacements are
cautionary program
uh... and made some suggested changes to it and i think further honed in what we
want to do throughout the village
assault-type the next step is for that to come to the village war and approve
it
on which it wouldn't be at the next meeting
here in october
uh... we also approve some advertising which i would also guess will probably
up the next board meeting
uh... to vote on as well
what we have to prove that ever tears of a word
doesn't work
i was still the farmers prequel soul
olaf hold off i want to justice uh... might try to explain it now
um...
and i think that's where the those are the main article examples route two main
items that we covered it was uh...
for the two army so we don't know
we're gonna overly
next meeting is scheduled tentatively
for october thirtieth
uh... tuesday night which is a
but tuesday october
uh... at uh... subplot and i think we're gonna have to come back here
because the uh... meeting room at the pub approaches so these pictures
so that we'll be here at seven o'clock
and auditors will be an discuss or financial statements fizzles internal
control reports so
that's always a
fastening meeting if your interested to see how the
of the inner workings of the village shah
take place in their controlled through a proper governance
that's on this site
p_m_s_ suffer for splintered
that takes care of all of our work
ports we have no old business
banners
has been the case almost every meeting we have another
business-friendly
amendment to make to our
codes
ordinance amending current newsroom in s pore cold title fifteen building and
construction chapter fifteen point twenty two construction permits section
fifteen twenty two zero five zero duration of performance
emotion
a motion motion came at that
i think that title and uh... i described it
with president rhetoric
really does it
uh... explains it and its bottom line up front but
director
don
work you rust buckets here tonight to answering your questions and give you
more background of why
for staff and
herself recommended this
is a
to address that situation that is a problem
in the community
uh... vision opened the carpenters dole's been hard hit by the number of
foreclosures and we have a number of uh... fell
uh... investors out there that are taking these homes are rehabilitating
them and attempting to put them back out on the market
and uh... we've had some difficulties with getting some of those homes sold
one of the
um... suggestions to help improve the marketing of those homes was to leave
stays open mic fluorine cabinetry so that
um... future home purchasers would be able to have the iaaf selection
uh... to choose from for those items so that they can kinda customize their home
and in order to do that you have to have a buyer and that and
uh... what normally happens
with the review processes they come and get their parents do the work do the
final inspections once a final inspections are
completed they get their certificate of occupancy well if they want to leave the
flooring open the camden tree opened
technically we can close out the permits were issue a certificate of occupancy
and this is one way of staying that temporarily
so that's the have the ability to market their homes
give potential home buyers the ability to cut customize the home that way they
want it
and that and then hopefully uh...
once everything goes through we can do the final inspection issues certificate
of occupancy we have a happy homeowner we happy have have happy investor we
have a happy village because we have eight
home and has been rehabilitated and we have uh... the home home with the family
and hope
so that was the reason why we've recommended
looking at this type of change n_b_c_ meant and um...
the type of remodeling projects the two thousand six building
some there's this really make sense because desk
that for people who buy a new home one of the big
pluses is they get to go through and pick the cabinets and pick
and everything like that
and these homes a remodel took practically a new standard they looked
like new homes sold when you're buying one i guess it was
got to get the same privilege as a new holes moment which is pick your cabinets
picking flooring
all in all makes sense and also make sense that we shouldn't be closing out
the promise
for people
or we shouldn't prematurely close out the permits or forced them to do
something servant or so any other discussion
uh... gathers suspect was a
really to me about that i think you village uh... what we're doing this and
we have uh... you know a lot of different builders in the village in a
uh... uh... i would just point out that uh... you know from reports i've been
reading in the newspaper about walmart coming to town organ and what nearly two
hundred more employees
who may need homes to move into seoul goes bust result there maybe giving away
a secret but uh... figured out
okay
deeply rooted housing fit that
terry called role
estimate pagan guys trustee hamper just posted to your guests
testing for await yes testing show yes
today that concludes our new business uh... next thing would be
trustee reports will start with caves in
uh... mind just on the implant that they're doing the t-shirt program again
this year and i think combined into one shirt
um...
and i kept my nine order my husband even is gonna wear one
so by was and michael kalia where this he was kept fully so
uh...
so we ordered our shirts so we have the time warner
and um... i'm glad that the building is gonna be open for those residents come
and see
how their monies was spent when prove services
and functionality and
really gives is building more longevity of youths
the way everything with three worked with and so
uh... it's their money it's their building that's nice that it's gonna be
open for them to deal with common and see and for all the staff
it was it was the join effort of everybody that getting that done as
smoothly
of course i'm on the outside looking and hannah
between the smoothly as it went
but the open here
feeling of the stamp fourteen and love breakfast apartments man
on my gosh what an improvement of working environment and i would think
that that would
help them just on a daily basis in their jobs
sold involved that made that happen
so come on out and see it
um...
there are the only thing i have to say uh...
which former uh...
visit really question
bob do you have any update on the uh...
this you know
slip muscle which uh...
leftover station
did you get my email division
working out that okay
drinking tea and simple
okay great
i'm looking forward to the sarc over fast
come up endured carlson inka
that's a good way for people who come in and see what we've done here
sometimes you know
they don't get to see that
were movements all forward like this you know
and here is right out here in in from the uk
and the actual were first with the uh... cyclocross or get a look at the whole
thing where she read
was sought part of the racism report to that
the lot of people out there so
david mark i'm going to go fishin again that my reporting
uh... hannah a little bit of a report it's not too long and put them up there
with me
and sanity i attended the international mountain bike association
sponsored training session
uh... his everyone knows we've been working with camber
uh... the chicago area mountain bike coop
uh... they're going to merge with this very large group
uh... and be a chapter here
uh... and continue to work in our bill h
uh... ideal one thinks im apparent match him bad thank you for being there
letting everybody and and uh... unknown that i heard somebody say it was a very
nice facility
and they enjoyed it uh...
there were between
twenty five and thirty volunteers there
uh... and height the closest i think i heard anyone
that lived in car area with somebody from lake in the hills
these ironmountain bankers with a passion
and it's my understanding that as much as they love to ride a lot to build the
trails also
so they were very calm gung-ho about going over to restrain words after
that's about ninety five percent completed
there's been about ten volunteers that day i was told
sometimes they come after work work through them
candlelight send their helmets but
doing a great job banking that path cleared and uh...
was very interesting
the presentation they gave
was about three hours and uh... listed in a national bank
association mumbai association
and they had pictures of trails from all over the world just just some beautiful
sights
uh... one that stood out tonight so i was um...
he was here in uh... u_s_ it was in c l_ that carter colony
it was an and underpass and it was a very dangerous situation right next to
aid neighborhood with young children
a lot of homeless people there a lot of *** addicts there were a lot of
needles all over the place
and uh...
but somehow through someone's vision they thought it would make a wonderful
how trail
soulmate gathered up their own funds and uh... after volunteers
and they got it cleaned up
and their residents were just thrilled
an antacid commonplace hobby value in their homes color
because of its own and it was very very pretty
uh... and so again there
they're building business much a passion as their writing
you know cell
uh... and then i wanted to just really a couple of things and some conversations
wait a couple of breaks and there was a gentleman and family who spoke about
sometimes in the forest reserves and can that be
sometime c predators
and they don't tolerate them
sony rides with the six year old daughter and if they see people that i
can ask
pat really respecting the trail in and that they have
no problem he asking them to leave i don't think they're starting any
altercations
they're just kind of letting them know you know what i thought was good fruit
how to share some of those folks in keeping engines
that were worried that there'd be a very large volume of people coming
answer was interesting to talk to him about that
and then um... i did mention that we have our own police department in our
writing who
you know occasionally too and he thought that was uh... three ideas so uh... and
then i did ask uh...
he came up
uh... if
they could provide arafat department
our police department in the department heads with maps of the trail
because they didn't speak a little bit about every so often there was an
accident
there in the middle
and pales practice twenty miles and believe we we are going to have anything
like that but nevertheless of somebody's happened to keep injuries and something
and has an accident
with um... the right people having the maps they can get to them as quickly as
possible so they said that they would uh... work and that meant that would
happen
uh... and then on a final note from the fellow hurts committee member ginger
stevenson myself decided
to walk the trailhead raceway at their next and sunday
uh... hasn't been a bit track
them because it's definitely for the banks
but i was really pleasantly surprised to see people already on it
it only heard about it and
weirded one gentleman with his young son they kept looking around
and the kid had the biggest violence faithful paul this is exactly what you
want
you know uh... this is all new to me what you're looking at the trail in it
isn't anything
you know great except that you can see that the
more things over and glass iffy natural in sustainable
and we saw some of the little challenges that day
tena built in the middle of the trail and you can tell there gonna be there
for a very long time
so it was have a very interesting stuff
and uh... so they had a very pleasant time thank you for joining me changing
hum but the best thing was
when we were leaving there was a young family that was in the parking lot
and that ginger
ask the kids that they are all excited to be had to write and they said yes
and the man was uh... looking at all dot com raceway history she was on her bike
and uh... and she had mentioned her husband had worked on the trail and they
were excited to come and try it out
and they brought a picnic lunch for the day they were from arlington heights
and then the ganti moq and he said that uh... yeah they were really looking
forward to it
there and have them once and then the return of ongoing trapping in the area
this is exactly what they want to sell
it was very good to hear and i thought were very fortunate although obviously
woods is owned by the park district it's still taxpayer dollars nan dam but that
address along with keeping to susan carpenter
along with
for a bum rap with everything else it'll be a wonderful thing to promote found
out about it and they're hoping i think to expand base way
uh... at some point
there might be a bit of vision
for keep interest in with them merging with such a larger group
they'll have uh... you know
that the uh... uh... landscape
uh... designers now
funds zone with its citizens
with ken and good timing the care emerging
as they're looking and working in after size that it was a really great
and um...
and that that was that all that i thought i'd tennis share that with
everybody you know 'cause it was really wonderful site
and then um... i do wanna mention that um...
i hope you have a report soon
uh... i've been contacted from the com city of aurora
hospital cat group out there that would like me to come
and speak about tire track new release program to some of the alderman
coming to some of the city council how they are now
our second largest city in illinois
little over a hundred ninety seven thousand residents
uh... and they've they've got an issue out there so they wanna see how it'll go
advance the feral cat groups that we work with here
at a time you have us an estimate of the timing with someone under its
to see
where were ants been awhile since eighty report week there are some great
successes out there
and yet still um... you know with
but given three homes
the have rounded up nineteen kittens
and i don't know how many and elkins
sulk
it's still going and it still
an issue that we need to deal with and um... you know i know i i wire resonance
to know that
he won a feed the cats that's fine but you'd have to participate in that
program
uh... we just they have no place to
homes hobbies kittens in the cockpit
specially when u scooping them up in a manner of three days
in just over three homes
and a heady another home they were going to aunt also i guess
that they've been to two years ago and when they went and saw those cats two
years ago
every one of them was sick with disease
so they were candid dreading going back to that home so
but we've you know we we have this ordnanceman now we have many discussions
and i know some thought it was trivial and
but i think isn't in impact here in our neighborhoods when we can get them
cleaned up
an egg they did say that i would mention the cinderella skull
the group that we uh... work with here
they are looking for some sort of a lower rent building act
i know chief shock even offered to help
but there just isn't anything that we see but again they can't scooped a cup
nineteen kittens and keep them in their home even
so they're desperate to get foster homes and get them from time to get them well
so that they can get them and uh... cell anyway i want to get to learn
pattern then i'd be happy there
give the border report and then hopefully have another report about
uh... the status of what's going on here
and that concludes
allam sorry as i did a great been talking to kevin actually i ask making
gains for mccain recoup
if you were tom com they're gonna be having a grand opening for raceway words
um... in an insanity and i'm sure they'll hope they'll be a lot of people
fear an uncertainty the volunteers and their families s if you give a short
presentation on may be on the second
meeting of the month
uh... just
just a little bit showing and gender took some great pictures of the trail
and um...
then uh... date they have taken a couple of the uh... training session
and i'm standing there looking like american catholic with some
pork thing that they hit potluck lowered that they use for the trails
but um... anyway they act i'd asked him if he would do that then
talk about the grand opening sentence but now i'm in
kevin said he'd certainly be be willing to give that up on the site
so people know and we can get an unions like to son
i think you can
centuries ago when custom
yet yet mcleod whatever so
to have some great group that tests on cell
really great something
the couple items here com
yaksionov no camber would want to set up a tent there over props
for major what separated unionized
and in and certainly one
on the break
uh... see
summer stuff spent covers american review of it
october that that's a that's every year every time she's you know it's also a
national fire prevention month
philomena mention at the next meeting to that uh...
know the residents that are out there if you know anyone to signal double-check
your smoke detectors batteries
no those things do save lives and not
support practice to do it every time change so
i wanted to mention that uh...
paul mentioned at our auto finance meeting we did have at the time
more discussion and uh...
ash trees and analyst born the programmer connect rider
generate your house
uh... this is what we now you know repeated again this is just for village
own dash trees
when when it when i picture with the number would be on entries on private
property
armed with that being said if you feel like you do have an extreme on your
property
and injured not sure if you want sod confirmation feel free to contact the
public works
and uh... about called to tell us that they will send up
personality or home doesn't know what you know whether you have an astronaut
maybe
directv direct use of who to call the if you wanted a look at treatment sir
taking it down and whatever
feel free to attack at the public works if you had any questions about trees on
your own property
um...
or if not just look up my number and i'll make time to so i think it
uh... the next thing i had seen in awhile
voter registration
for the fall extended the deadline is october ninth
so if you're not already registered to vote god come to a bill which are visit
a retail each clerk's office
takes like ten minutes
and you know you get yourself registered
uh... to piggyback on that
in the spring election
definitely if you're interested in running or uh... trustee and or mayor to
make sure you pick up your packets at the village clerk's office
by this next election season and there are
uh... three-four years term trustee spots open my included i am night
already made a public hanging out rerun in again
uh... there's gonna be a special two-year term up for grabs for a trustee
and then you know the mayor's or village president
solo
pick up your packets if you are interested in the residents are
once again you pick 'em up in the village clerk's office and the deadline
to turn those in his december seventeenth through twenty four
uh...
public works this this story week once again i want think bob for here a lot
you know your you're passing updates
all my things are first email came in at
little after midnight
monday morning so uh...
you know and you get your view are keeping us updated
of you know
i photos great signal if anyone would have called me after midnight as a
what's going on and i
within our own so you'll think so
you know the prompt information and don't think the guys for their hard work
and sure they had a
put in a lot of man-hours and do a lot of stuff but you know we
we got it we got the problem fixed and what will continue on so thanks
effort for the residents of then though there was a sewer league down by the
river by one of our list stations
and uh...
both carpenters role and
opac wayne used air tanker trucks
keep as much sewage from entering the creek and ultimately the river
by todd they really needed a tanker truck
and not
tell and since it happened solely in the day they had a way to allow for a tanker
trucks to comments so
both carpenters or not gone planner pretty much piggy back in after each
other
no work together to get this done so no just
bateman again for us so
the last thing we got a too
their studio businesses unnoticed up on our route thirty one day to take to prop
parlors
phone ones just south of how he rode an excel white castle ones just north of
hardly road
uh...
on the west side of the roller forgot the name of at one point anyways i
didn't know maybe drop invitation to
the village president maybe need him to get it tear to demanded leader hoses no
crop has been saying to support our local businesses do
but
having presided
technically my report
at the bread finished lovers and i was governor of connecticut one cutea
underwater picture of that so killing and forever
the hank
it means for christian of this error and opportunity still to get a table at the
actual request
or is the most yes no absolutely if uh... anybody is interested please
campus
mail-qy that people work with the option corrected um... decide
well that i would going to talk but store break and then the fact that
that uh... public work like the such extraordinary measures that keep the
sandwich out of the river
and even contacting the downstream
places l general who get their water from the river keep down the price of
the situation
all of
making the most of the really bad situation
doing the most to keep it to a minimum of disaster uh... trawlers thank you for
that
i was kind of open it
doug marks will be here tonight so we can't thank you for his time here
at the village i'm sure all the trustees appreciated that
uh... thugs straightforward
approach
and the fact that uh...
he he really believed in the things he talked about at the meetings
vision
good experience for us to have him here is a trustee in
i wish him well
he's moving to arizona
he already has a house there and hopefully a job so
bested him in his family from all of us i'm sure
along with that uh... grown up along with that but uh...
the raceway would soon
pat went to a presentation on saturday the same people were
uh... here on thursday night
here in partnership with here in this area
from memo which is a national mountain bikers association
and they put on a presentation for
uh... forest preserve
herbs and park districts out for those leaders of those areas to come in and
find out about
putting in bike trails
and the woman spent a lot of time talking about call you put in a bike
trails so that it doesn't cause erosion
and so that you keep and natural surface in
all these things that she said
we went from there a worker race we would send walk-through and you could
see it all there
everything that they sent about how to
reduce erosion
to create a good surface
to keep from having standing water
lasalle on the trail so it was really nice and ten
we had uh...
couple representatives from
uh... governor quinn's office were there to see what we were doing
of representatives from several different
park districts
and forest preserve districts were there
to see what our while it's not our croatians and yet but uh... you're a
sweet words trail
and uh...
i really think that uh... the experience that
mountain bikers had doing that trails to make them
kik and race trail even better
on that would be the last thing i have
yesterday i went to the metropolitan mayors conference it's a
so quarterly meeting of
all names
you know within a fifty-mile radius it was started by mayor daley a number of
years ago on mir emmanuel was there
uh... and we talked about a lot of problems that
all of the municipalities have such as
the need for pension reform
and other things but we also got a minute just to say something nice about
our village sold
i've course talked about how much infrastructure work we've done in the
last five years
growers will step two items or mediocre one
our new kik and respect for you know
i sense going to be one of the better bike trails anywhere in
and a lot of american looked up and
it was like while this is interesting because nobody else had anything like
that
it was a recreational playing the tape
counted about their village and so i i thought that was really nice because i
think that's
part of partners bills
future
is to be a recreational area our downtown area
the bike trails the converge here
bicycle mountain biking on either side of the river
uh... this is this is a part of partners israel's future and it's not happening
right now
uh... with that i wore conclude my remarks
we will have any a brief executive session and item uh... section to see
one of the opened meetings that or of them
the open meetings at
uh... soul
anita motion to exert adjourn to executive session hundreds of sarajevo
from resident asked me to ask tonight totally prepare
when will that be clients the opening up
doing now
by christmas
thank you and so sorry and the captain's poop tall
so i want to move rejected its martians
motion case second and boris photo in favor say aye play
