Welcome to your new weekly chronicle, Top-Pas Top,
hosted by the man who loves to bathe in coffe and be licked by dogs : Sussucre ! ("sugar" in French)
And the man who loves to play against OTK decks, while clipping his toenails : Silvermedusa !
Hello, everybody !
In Top Pas Top we are going to spend an hour or so with a M&M:DoC player
as they play in a Swiss tournament organized by the MoMCards community.
Today, one of our emblematic players : Dragznarock !
- Hi, Dragznarock. - Hi !
Dragznarock is one of MoMCards' moderators,
and is known, if not for his results, at least for his original and unusual decks.
He's very appreciated by the community, and quite nice and approachable.
- That may be a bit exaggerated. - No, you truly are.
By approachable, you mean i'm not that good ? Fine with me.
So, about who I am,
my name is Teddy, I'm thirty and... short.
It seems accurate ! Where do you come from ?
I live a bit south to Lyon. [T.N: southeastern France]
- What's your favorite faction ? - I like The Sanctuary a lot.
Definitely one of the most interesting factions, in my opinion.
And I'm fond of Akane, as it kind of follows from what you said earlier.
I play her only because I love her artwork !
Not everybody knows Akane, you get it as reward I think...
Yes, you get it when you have all the cards from the "Void Rising" expansion.
So, since we're on this topic, what do you think about the last update ?
I know a lot of people won't like my opinion, but I'm glad they made the Prison card "unique".
I think it puts decks including it to the same level as other OTK decks.
It's just my opinion, but I prefer it that way.
Ok. So that was about your favorite hero, now what about your favorite cards currently ?
We know you're an atypical player, you don't always play the most classical cards...
Well, one of my favorite is Lifting Wind.
I find it really useful, in a lot of different situations.
- Ok, so it's your favorite card currently... - Yeah, it's a little card, common and cheap...
- You think you're gonna play it tonight ? - Of course.
Still in the "favorie" category, who are your favorite players nowadays ?
It's gonna be awkward, but I'd say Silvermedusa, for how consistant is in his results...
- He's a really good player, and he's nice. - You're gonna make me blush...
If you flatter me like that during our first show, people are going to think I paid you...
Let's be honest, you did pay him...
Yeah, but you'll have to give me your account number again !
So, what kind of deck are you going to use, tonight ?
I'm gonna use the deck you can see right now,
It's based on Akane, with 5 in might and 4 in magic.
I need 4 points in magic for Primal spells I like a lot like Spell Twister and Spell Steal.
The kind of things that can improve the control possibilities a Sanctuary deck already offers.
We've seen there is three Naga Tactician, which is quite uncommon...
Yeah, it can be really neat, that is if you manage to hit the opponent's hero.
And if you manage to get three it... At least we're in for an unusual ride.
And it's way more original than a Kieran or an Ariana, it's going to be a lot of fun.
Tell me, Dragz, not to nervous about tonight ?
No, I've no doubt about my style and my level as a player, so
no pressure, I'm not that good but we're gonna have some fun !
What results do you expect ?
I'm going for at least one victory out of three matches, sounds good ?
The competition's going to be rough, tonight !
Fine with me. We're about to start.
As a reminder, you won't be able to talk as you fight.
We will comment on what goes on as you play.
- Sussucre wish you good luck. - Thanks !
Best of luck, my dear Dragz !
It's the bear minimum to wish you.
So, you're going to create a private tournament for you and your seven opponents who're already waiting for you.
You're going to create a password for the others...
It's "bûcheron".
Let's put it on the chat...
It seems you have a bit of lag, Dragz.
Indeed.
Time for the contenders to join up.
The password is "bûcheron".
Do you think Akane will do the trick, Silver ?
Actually, I'm pessimistic about that.
That's because Akane actually have a rather bad rep.
No wonder, she looks like Medusa! ... Sorry about that...
- That was uncalled for ! - Indeed it was.
Plus I'm gonna have a hard time making fun of you,
there's no card looking like a piece of "Sussucre"...
Maybe in the next expansion, who knows ?
It will be a powerful card !
At least, Akane's artwork is great, as Dragz said.
And he prefers fight and lose with style to being hated for winning with a classic no-class deck.
As of now, four of the eight participants have joined.
I think your dog is angry, Dragz.
Maybe he's reacting to you using Akane ?
Seven out of eight, soon we'll be able to start...
I like the jokes you put at the bottom of the screen, Silver !
I love the "What to choose between Pao Hunter and Wolf Captain" one !
- So you do like them ? - Absolutely.
Yeah I've always had a hard time choosing between them...
I loved doing that when I played Magic the Gathering,
I loved putting a card that everybody said sucked in my decks.
Let's go, first match : Dragz VS Cyriius !
I met Cyriius earlier today, he's really close to reaching the 1500 ELO points.
He's a good player, let's see if Dragz is up to the task.
Let's wish him good luck for his ELO scoring.
This first match will probably be quite rough !
Dragz is up against a Kieran player who looks like he knows his business,
and will probably not hold back !
Sorry if the game has that much lag,
it will not prevent us from watching this match, but that can happen when you go live...
Of course there was no problem during rehearsals.
Anyway, you'll have the possibility to re-watch it with a better quality.
Sorry again, it doesn't depend on us.
Dragz chooses to kill the Tithe Collector immediately...
This is not a bad idea in itself...
The lag doesn't prevent us from following the game. They started out with a Tithe Collector...
And there was a "Pao Deathseeker Gambit" to get rid of creatures on both sides.
- I love the Pao, it's a great creature. - Yet it's rarely used at the beginning of the duel.
Usually it's used to get rid of something really annoying,
or to finish your opponent.
The Pao is a player killer.
What's going to happen ? Cyriius plays a Dark Assassin.
The Kieran deck isn't going to play nice.
A Sunburst, a Dark Assassin...
Yet, Dragz's Shanriya Guard is still standing.
Maybe it's thanks to the lag...
He chose to use his Pao...
As you know, we're here to say "Top" or "not Top".
There I'd say what Dragz just did wasn't good, here's why :
He could have used his Naga Tide Master to immobilize the Sun Rider,
or kill the Dark Assassin itself.
Instead he used up a Pao which could have been useful later, I see your point.
But he played the Pao instead of a more solid one.
Here he can use Spell Steal to great effects !
If I were him, I'd possibly have hijacked his opponent's spell, maybe not right now.
He had just played this Guard and couldn't attack with it.
Dragz is off to rather bad start, and is now in bad position.
It's two creatures against none, here.
We can ask people on the chat, but it seems the video quality is really low.
- I agree. - It isn't topnotch either...
Yeah, it too isn't "Top".
What do people say on the chat ?
Yes, apparently our comments are not synchronized with what's happening in the game.
It shouldn't be too much off...
I hope so. I'm not surprised, though.
- Unfortunately we can't do anything. - What surprises me is how much lag we have.
Maybe Dragz's dog severed the connexion.
- Think he bit the modem ? - Yeah, just so we couldn't do the show !
But we won't give up, and maybe we'll see Dragz turn the situation to his advantage.
It's the determining moment in the game.
He's facing a Radiant Glory, a Sun Rider and a Wolf Marksman.
Should he try to use Spell Twister to get the Town Portal and use it on the Rider with the Bless ?
Or should he choose to play his creatures ? He chose the creatures.
- Personally I would have tried the Spell Twister. -Me too.
In hope of getting a Word of Light.
Or at worst a Town Portal, to get rid of both the Sun Rider and the Bless attached to it.
Do you just think he has a Town Portal in his hand or actually know he does ?
No, I just think he does, and that he's probably going to use it next turn.
If he has one.
He played Word of Light, which is much more efficient in such cases.
He sweeps up the board, and is probably about to seal our poor friend Dragz's fate.
- He's in a really bad place. - Yet he drew a lot of Paos.
It's the third one, right ?
Since it's an unusual deck, you can't really know
if it was an average game for his deck, or if it just didn't work out this time.
His Pao/Kenshi combo was a good idea, it was enough to get rid of the Radiant Glory.
He plays a "blocker"...
- We're actually off by twenty seconds, my friend. - Twenty, that much ?!
Yes. Still, maybe Valkiry is exaggerating, but...
Ah, it's the end for Dragz, now.
Cyriius is about to defeat him.
It's worth noting Cyriius plays with the trendiest deck currently.
As you saw, it's a Kieran deck in 3-6-0.
So, how what's your impression after this first match ?
Well, I'm not sure it was enough to judge...
He drew three Pao at the wrong moment, he probably prefers to get them later in the match.
Plus the Kieran he faced built up well, it was a hard match for Dragz.
- Yes, for baptism of fire it was extremely... - Extremely burning !
Plus we know Dragz !
He's not afraid to show how good he is at building decks, even with disliked heroes.
More than that, with forsaken heroes !
I think Cucu is watching this, and will be inspired by Dragz's deck for his next show.
I surely encourage him to him use Akane in the next Matrix Tournament.
I really wonder why you want him to create that kind of deck, Silver.
- Maybe I could get something from it... - Maybe.
Time for the second duel, this time against Sasmyra.
He's another player from the French community whom we greet.
Yes, we appreciate his company on Teamspeak.
Yes, more than that, he's a really neat guy.
- Dragz had some luck here for his first hand. - A level-1 creature, perfect.
At first his hand wasn't great.
Given how heavy it was, he could have been blocked until the third turn.
Here again, Sasmyra isn't going to play nice.
Indeed, the Dark Assassin is already out there.
Immobilizing it now would be useless.
- He doesn't have much choice. - He won't be able to play this turn.
I think the Dark Assassin will die next turn.
Here it is, Sasmyra has decided to rush for the kill properly, Dragz takes a Pao in the face.
Now the Dark Assassin attacks, for a total of seven damage points.
Just as I thought. It the good way to go in this kind of situation.
Actually, it's not that much of a problem for me if I lose HPs early.
I think it's worth it if i can preserve my creatures.
Especially since here he was in trouble.
He has a Coral Priestess, which I prefer to call Medusa, strangely enough.
- He plays his Grounded card ! - It's terrific in this kind of situations !
He had to viable options, but that was a neat move.
He now has upper hand in terms of HPs, three creatures on the field,
and all of a sudden, we can see how good his hand can be.
Now let's see how Sasmyra will do after Dragz's frontal attack.
The Stronghold can resist as long as the player has cards in their hand.
There still could be a real danger.
HPs drop fast !
This duel will be over soon. Surely this time we can it was "Top".
Indeed it was.
The Kenshi was placed ideally.
- More than that, his strategy ended up paying off. - The Grounded card was very useful too.
It allowed him to rush at his opponent's HPs.
- Theoretically... - Theoretically, he has already won.
If he can't finish him, he will clean the board out completely.
No, the spell is going to do the trick, and here it is, he wins.
That was unexpected, we'll have to wait but no problem.
Broadcast live is never safe.
So, Sasmyra, if you can hear us...
You're in pain.
Dragz's deck worked out well.
I'm quite impressed, because for me starting out with level-3 creatures is always stressful.
In these situations you're blocked, you can't play during the second turn...
Silver, let's get to the important point.
What's your impression about this tournament ?
Do you think Dragz can still win after a defeat, which will be really difficult ?
- What's his ranking right now ? - He's first, only because the others are not done yet.
Yes, that's why. Obviously, he won't be able to win the tournament.
He'd need three victories to be first. In a Swiss Tournament there's always one winner.
For now, he's in the middle. The real question is "will he end up in the top three ?",
Will he win his last match ?
- Can you remind us of his prognostic, Silver ? - Precisely, I think he said one out of three, right ?
- I'm not sure, but I think he said one. - Well at least he reached his goal.
Let's be honest, it was a really safe bet.
He completely dominated this match against Sasmyra.
- It was rather impressive.
Personally I think the first place will go to either Cyriius or Iwontdominate.
That's probable.
I'm gonna bet. I'm in for a Snickers bar, which you'll send me in a pack,
I bet that the winner in this match will win the tournament, and here it is : I bet on Cyriius.
- He'll face someone with two victories to, right ? - Exactly.
- So, either Coco or Ewazz. - I bet on Coco.
Sasmyra's asking if we are dropping packets, actually I think it's massive.
It's still understated.
Something special happened this week.
My dear Sussucre, I think you deserve some congratulations,
because you've reached the 1500 ELO shelf.
Well, thank you very much, it was really hard and took a long time...
Actually, I had to win 32 times in a raw to reach it.
If I remember well, you reached it too, Silver.
Let's be honest, we supported each other as we went through the same things.
I'm being told you too dropped packets during your leveling.
I dropped a lot but let's keep that between us, Silver.
- I promise I won't tell - Well it's ok then.
Let's almost admit we got a tiny Parkinson disease during some duals.
It's very stressful. I wouldn't even put my worst enemy through this.
Congratulations for your ranked first in the world, too !
- Really, you're sure I am ? - Absolutely.
Excellent. Well, it's some great news.
But let's go back to Dragz, the Hero of The Day !
As of now, he's still ranked n°2. There's still more results to wait for, but he'd be either third or forth.
He could still be ranked lower. We'll know soon.
What's your take on the Swiss Tournament format, Silver ?
Personally, I like it but I think it could be a bit less rigid.
It would have been neat it you could create tournaments with 4, 8, 16, or 32 players.
Maybe even 64, for tournaments with more organizing.
It would have been really cool that way.
Beyond that, it's all fun for all players. You know it won't be more than an hour long.
It's just three duals.
Chances are it will probably play a part in the next expansion.
The new packs will probably serve as a reward, and prices will be that much sweeter.
I see your point, but personally...
It's quite expensive to get tournament tickets, 275 seals for 6 tickets...
That's some heavy cost.
It could actually become interesting, if you get packs from the new expansion
instead of packs from Void Rising as prices.
I think it's almost certain. They'll probably do it that way.
The DoC developers will do that, "New expansion pack for the winner",
and all of sudden you'll see Swiss Tournaments everywhere. That's how I see it.
The tournaments have a great future ahead.
Nowadays people who're already advanced in the game don't have much reason to play it.
But it will come about. I think the format is really neat.
Eight players, two prices, and maybe more.
- How exactly does it work for the packs and all ? - So, the n°1...
The n°1 wins a Premium Void Rising Pack. The n°2 wins a normal VR Pack. Then°3 just unlock the corresponding achievement.
I thought there was an Emilio's Pack involved, somewhere...
I participated in a lot of tournaments, yet I've never won one...
But maybe, I don't know.
It'd be cool though if the winner got a ticket to make up for the one they used.
As of now I agree, but when the new expansion is released I'll probably change my mind.
It sure is talked about a lot...
I'm not really fond of how the Swiss Tournament ranking works.
It rewards those who play a lot and not those with the best results.
I could be flawed too, you'd just have to win one tournament and never play again.
Exactly, that'd be a big problem.
I think the current system is the less flawed one.
Yes Maybe the could mix the two.
Overall, it's a good addition. Apart from the fact it's too rigid.
Blabla and Shaaka's duel is getting really long.
- No doubt about that. - On of them is probably trying to run out the clock.
- That'd be ugly. - I was wrong, Ewazz ended up defeating Coco.
I bet on the opposite.
Dragz's next opponent will probably be either Iwontdominate, Coco or the one who will...
- Ah, here he is, Lolblablabla. - Let's go !
The final will be Cyriius VS Ewazz, and Dragz will face Lolblablabla.
That's a rather unusual nickname.
My nickname being Sussucre, I don't think I can make fun of other people's nicknames.
Personally I like "Sussucre", it's cute. It feels good in the mouth.
- Very unctuous. - So, here we go !
Level-1, level-2 and level-3 creatures, very well.
It clearly is the best starting hand he got in this tournament.
I agree, and yet...
- He's up against a Fleshbane, which can be difficult. - Fleshbanes are playful.
- Very playful, today. - It's Lolblablabla a.k.a Yujimbo on the MoMCards chat.
I don't know him as much, but we still greet him.
I problably faced him a couple of times, but there's nothing more I can say.
A really nice guy on the chat, anyway.
Most people are.
You can notice a recurrent thing with Dragz : he loves bid bad spells !
He got two Lightning Bolts already...
Not everybody would like it, especially with Mana Storms around.
Exactly, the Mana Storms are going to make things very difficult for him.
Lolblablabla did something a bit strange.
He splashed his own Wretched Ghoul against Dragz's frontline.
On the other hand, he played really tough creatures.
They're quite strong too, Dragz is going to have a hard time getting rid of them.
He has good things in his hand, though. It will be useful for this turn as well as the next.
For instance, he could send the Archilich back in the Fleshbane's hand, who will have to pay for it again to use it.
- Oh, he goes with the Wanizame. - He rather plays some solid stuff, why not ?
- I wouldn't have done that. - Me neither.
I'd say "Not Top". What do you think ?
I would have put it at the bottom, next to the Shark Guard's evolution with a freakish name.
- Wanuzabi...? Wasabi...? - Wanizame !
Exactly what I said !
- It isn't wasabi. - Could be turned into.
Actually he could pull it off after his last moves...
Here it is, I knew a Pao would come up.
He's here to finish the Wanizabe-Wasabi.
The Vampire Knight probably won't last long.
Probably not, he's not gonna be the only one.
Dragz is going to crush it, and then use one of his level-4 spells to kill the Archilich.
I agree, it'd probably be wasted on the Lingering Ghost...
I don't see why, it has 3-1-3 !
Once again, Dragz draws one Pao after another, which isn't that useful here.
I think he really needs creatures which won't die at the end of his turn.
Other than that, he has a few things in hand.
But when you know the kind of creatures the Necropolis can play, you see why he needs some heavy weaponry.
- Here comes the Archilich again. - Yes, a second one.
I'd play the Town Portal, perhaps.
- No, he'd need it for later ! - Or else the Medusa or the Kenshi.
I'm not sure...
The problem is that because of this Mana Storm, he couldn't do anything more...
I like this solution.
Given the cost-benefit ratio of an Archilich and how difficult it is to be able to play it...
- It's worth it to destroy it now. Oh oh ! - Here's why I would I used the Town Portal.
Blabla would have either put it back or played the Vampire Lord,
and then the Vampire Lord would've been killed by the Lightning Bolt and the Medusa.
That's what I'd have done.
Well at least Dragz has a biggest card advantage, he has many cards in his hand.
That could work out, just like that.
He uses the Town Portal on the Vampire Lord which is very expensive.
It costs six resources.
Actually he chooses to go after his HPs...
It was either that or th Coral Priestess.
Yes, and to better to keep it for later for outmaneuvering.
He plays the Vampire Lord again, plus a Lingering Ghost to wrap it up.
From now on, it'll be almost impossible for Dragz, how will he pull it off ?
- He may have a few solutions. - Actually he can hurt him a lot.
But he won't be able to finish him this turn.
And the Vampire Lord is a problem.
If I were him, I'd play the Shanriya Guard.
That way I could freeze the Vampire Lord next turn.
- Instead he played a blocker. - He could steal play the Guard.
I'd definitely play the Guard.
Then he'd play the Priestess and freeze him next turn.
I'd have kept the Priestess to finish him.
"Not Top", Dragz, "not Top" ! You put yourself in a lot of trouble for the rest of the duel.
Believe me, my friend !
Even though the Fleshbane out three points in Destiny, it looks like he has a heavily creature-based strategy...
Personally I'm afraid he's going to play a Broken Bridge next turn, or even this one.
Yeah, that's a possibility...
The plot thickens...
He still has some stuff in this hand, he's not completely down.
Dragz is focused on surviving, for this turn...
Only five HPs, if he doesn't do anything he'll die next turn...
No doubt.
You sent your Medusa to be crushed, that's bad Dragz, that's really bad !
He tried and built a big thick wall.
Well, not that thick, but he chose defense.
Even though he preferred busting the Neophyte Lich...
The problem is his opponent keeps drawing cards as long as he has the Fate Sealer.
He should have killed her as quick as possible.
- He's going to be overwhelmed. -I think he'll kill her during the next turn.
But the next turn, if there is one, will be very difficult.
There will be one, but after that...
How many creatures will he have left ?
It's also weird how he used his Kenshi, there in the bottom to boost the "Wanemazimazebu"...
- It's a Wanizame, Silver, repeat after me ! - No, it's too difficult for me...
There are words that are just too difficult for me, like "Dragznarock", I prefer Dragz...
Here comes a Banshee ! She could put an end to this duel.
Maybe not now, but she'll surely hit hard.
It's critical, he's in a critical situation !
He even fortifies his row with an Archilich behind the Fate Sealer...
It's hard to imagine how he could pull it off.
He got rid of the Banshee and Sealer.
Next he plays a Pao to finish the Archilich...
- I have a lot of lag again... - Same thing for me, Silver.
It's not that bad, it makes the video "vintage"...
Our buddy Dragz still managed to clear out the board.
Yes, but at which price ? He has almost nothing left, and his opponent...
- Oh oh ! An Atropos ! - Yes, an Atropos, the Banshee...
Plus he has enough resources to play his Banshee now.
I'm not sure his opponent got the best out of his Banshee, last turn.
With an Atropos in his hand he could have ensured his victory earlier.
What is he going to remove ? Ok...
- He prefers to clear out the field. - Here is the Naga Tactician, just now.
It doesn't smell good for Dragz...
We didn't even talk Akane's special ability...
No mystery here, it was useless so far...
- And it won't be used today... - No, clearly not today, Silver.
He moves the Atropos aside, just for the beauty of it.
I don't see how he could withstand the attacks of Atropos and the Vampire Lord....
It's done, it's over for Dragz, who...
Dragz did just what he said.
Yes, it's true, it's still something.
He chose to use a really original deck.
Silver, actually I won my bet.
I'm waiting for my Snickers bar
I'll give you my address after the show.
I want my Snickers bar in my mailbox next week !
- Believe me, that's some Snickers bar you'll get ! - Oh, i guess I see what you mean...
I hope it already makes you salivate !
Do we wait for the final results ?
Yes, I guess it'd be interesting to see his final ranking.
We're still waiting for Iwontdominate and Coco, who always seem to finish late.
- No problem, of course. - Coco being Cucu99's spiritual brother...
- Yeah, he's his French twin. - Yeah, but without the cards !
So, Akane only got him the fifth place in this tournament.
It was a surprising deck, I think it's worthy of respect
Here's the image again.
- We're back, you're sure ? - I'm positive, we're back live !
I'm telling the chat, no reason not too...
That's some end for the show.
The stream is back !
We're back in front of the first screen.
We're still with Sussucre and Dragz, who just finished this tournament.
You got one victory and two defeats, which were two very difficult matches...
A Kieran and a Fleshbane who only played creatures all throughout the duel...
It was far from simple, a real baptism of fire for Akane.
Yeah, yeah it hurt.
As I said before, this deck is clearly not made for this...
It's not made for leveling and all, so it's kind of weak against thought out optimal decks...
It's a bit like an Inferno deck.
When it's good it's great, but when it doesn't work you're just screwed.
That's what we like about you, how original your decks are.
It's something I really like. Your victory against Sas was lightning quick !
Your starting hand wasn't great, "not Top" as we say
But you used Top moves to get back in the game !
A well placed attack, a Honor card perfectly used...
... an optimal pressure, a bright victory !
It felt like your deck could conquer the world.
Even though you put nothing out during the second turn.
That's the power of this deck it's all bluff.
What did you think of our comments Dragz ?
Well, it was good. Sussucre, screw you, the same thing for you Silver...
Very good.
Our spectators and we had some lag, any explanation for that ?
Hmm, orange. Nothing more to say.
I have a question. Were you listening to the show while you played ?
I couldn't, it would have created an echo.
Ok. So you don't know if we were desynchronized or not ?
- People told us we were 20 seconds off. - Yeah, i think you were about 10 seconds off.
It comes from my computer, actually.
As long as we're not off by an entire turn...
I'm sorry for this technical problem.
My dear Sussucre, it's time to sum up this tournament.
We thank the community for participating. Once again it's one of good things from the last update.
I'm glad we could do it, even with the lag.
What did you like about Dragz's performance, today ?
Personally I loved the second match.
It was cool to this Akane in action, but she's really really weak.
Dragz used it for its originality and all,
but as of now this hero is really useless...
I agree. Even though the card is beautiful.
Maybe Akane deserved a better treatment, like Kieran or even Phrias.
Her special ability can't really be used.
You could have won this second match with any other Sanctuary hero.
You just used creatures, Akane's magics were not that useful...
Not during the second match, but Akane as access to Primal spells
These can be very good.
Now for the "not Top" category...
- Not a great use of your Paos. - He didn't have much choice.
Your creature positioning was a problem, you kind of wasted a Coral Priestess.
During the last duel you were that close to make it, you could've put him under pressure.
You would've withstood the hits. It wasn't great.
- Your ability to create original and almost viable decks... - It showed tonight !
Exactly, I'm always amazed how you fight a Kieran with style !
- There was also a Kelthor and a... - A Fleshbane.
- You got served tonight ! - Yep.
And I'm being told that maybe they saw your hand thanks to the video
only thirty seconds too late.
And with a bit of lag.
But you did what you said, you ended up fifth with Akane.
Congratulations, it's good work.
- Thank you. - Some wouldn't be happy with that, but that's Akane.
- Yeah, it was Akane. - Would you do as good as that with her ?
- I doubt it. - Me too.
Silver, I suggest we ask our spectators to send us mails.
That they could offer to be in Dragz's place next time.
Dragz was our guinea pig today.
We need players for next shows, wether they are Top or not.
Please send us mail, we'll see if it works.
Here's even my personal mail address :
I'm Silvermedusa. You can see that name in the top 10.
- That was gratuitous ! - But well placed !
silvermedusa@live.fr
You can send comments there, I'll pass them to the MoMCards team.
- You better pass them ! - Don't worry, Sussucre, I'll pass you a lot of things.
- Let's keep that private, Silver. - Okay, I'll do it in 10 minutes, after the show !
- Five minutes, then. - You naughty boy !
That's all for today, thank you for watching despite the bad image quality.
We promise it'll be better next time. When is next time's show Silver ?
It should be in two weeks, theoretically.
Maybe we could another show next week but it's far from certain.
Maybe a shorter program, just for fun.
Let's be honest with you, this was our very first time streaming a show.
We're waiting for comments from the MoMCards team who welcomed us on their channel.
We'll see. We've got ideas for other shows.
If this one works out you'll see us again, if not you'll see us only in game.
- Exactly, in game - And you'll see us closely !
Maybe we'll be very angry. Maybe I'll crush French players, just out of frustration.
Especially Oyau, Silver.
- And we greet him. - Greetings, Oyau !
This weeks update was a bit problematic for him.
It changed a card which was essential to his usual strategy.
But that won't stop Oyau, he will find new strategies, good luck to him.
Oyau will manage to pull it off, he's also really good with other decks.
- He's a really good player. - And with some temper too.
Let's wish him good luck.
Everything has been said, I guess.
Any last word to add, Dragz ?
Hum, no.
- Did you enjoy making this show with us ? - Yeah it's always a pleasure to spend you two.
Nice of you.
Actually, there's one thing to add : including us, four French player reached the 1500 ELO shelf this week.
Yes, let's congratulate Xami, and Jahno who used a Sandalphon deck to make it.
Of course everybody is entitled to their opinion,
but personally I think it's unsporting because of its use of Prison.
This actually is why the DoC team decided to nerf this card,
and I applaud them for that.
It will probably make the game more dynamic.
Everybody seems to agree that this the way to go, everything's good.
Exactly. Let's utter "cocorico", and greet all those who sticked with us, like Devin.
Hi, Devin.
- Thank you Dragz for your participation. - You're welcome.
Thanks again, we couldn't have done it without you.
Yeah, I shared my lag and my low-q Internet connection.
- You shared everything. - Exactly.
You actually told us your modem was powered by your bicycle ?
Exactly, and since my wife went to have dinner...
She stopped pedaling.
You're not winded, that's great. Congratulations for your cardio.
Let's wish everybody good night.
- We'll see you next show. - Yeah, at worst in two weeks.
Yes, two weeks.
Thank you again for watching, see you soon !
See you soon with a better image quality.
We'll improve it with time, they'll forgive us.
- Bye bye ! - Bye !
