Hi, I'm Kyle with Whitaker Brothers and this Destroyit shredder next to me actually goes by two
names. First is the four thousand five (4005) in strip cut and cross cut.
The strip cut will take fifty two sheets at a time,
the cross cut will take thirty two.
But also, when it's the high security model it becomes the forty fourteen/two (4014/2)
SMC.
And that's been NSA tested at eight sheets at a time
twenty-three reams in an hour.
Now, one of the features you're not used to with shredders
is a wide, forgiving sixteen inch throat width.
This lets us put paper in forwards,
sideways, backwards, however we want to
and this shredder will have no problem pulling it in.
There are also a lot of features you are used to
like the ECC meter on the side. One of the biggest problems with the shredder is
jamming it constantly.
But with this meter
you know when you're feeding into hard or when we can feed a little bit more,
You also know about the factory installed automatic oiler on the side, which is virtually a must have
when it comes to cross cut and high security shredders.
Also there's the SPS system right here, safety protection system.
That tries to prevent anything but paper from going into the shredder. Now if I open this fifty
three gallon
waste bin. It's going to show a
very high quality bag holding system
and this will allow us to
go take fewer trips to the dumpster in a given day.
I doesn't matter how fast you're shredding, if you have to go to the dumpster every ten minutes
that's a big waste time.
My name's Kyle Mitchell and this is the 4005 and the 4014/2.
Thanks for watching.
