COURAGEOUS THUMBS
Welcome to next Courageous thumbs.
This time we're going to look at the most famous British prisoner
of today and his name is Charles Bronson.
And the film was made about him.
Guys, how's the film?
I find it brilliant.
Rough.
Rougher than you?
Rougher than Srstka.
It is rougher than we two
and the guy who played Bronson
is rougher than Vin Diesel.
And it's not easy to say.
Which is even more interesting he was a bald gay villain
in Star Trek.
Star Trek Nemesis.
Nor seen, nor remembered by anybody.
It's a cheap British film,
which describes more or less real story
through black bizarre humour.
The story about a man who is in prison for 26 years.
During this time he was free for 70 days.
He is very intelligent and witty,
but also a crazy bully maniac,
who's really happy when he can hurt somebody.
Outside the prison he doesn't understand it,
but inside it has its rules,
he can beat anybody he wants.
During those days he had been busted
he caught hostages in the prison, that's what I liked.
So he kidnapped someone several times in prison,
he's demolated few of them...
Or he organised some insurrection,
'cause he was in the madhouse for long time before,
from which are the most black scenes shot,
they hocussed him...
...and let him listen Pet Shop Boys.
Yes and that is really inhumane.
Then he killed somebody in the madhouse,
'cause he believed it'll help him to get out of there
or rather to the prison,
but they just put him to another, worse madhouse.
There he organised an insurrection and he got out of there.
And later the governement declared
that he is too expensive for the prison
and they decided to let him go.
He was free for 69 days.
Then he decided to kill the Queen
to get back into the prison.
But he wasn't successful.
I like the original way how it's been shot.
There is something from Natural Born Killers,
something from Tarantino,
and somtehing of Kubrick too.
And something from Amelie from Montmartre.
Later I look for some informations about him,
he had very freakish experiences in his private life
and in this film is only third used.
I think that's a pitty,
because it would go together with this
crazy style of the film
if there is more about the kidnappings in prison.
Maybe in the second episode.
It think Bronson II. will be made,
and also Bronson III., where he could fight with somebody else.
With who?
That's no contest.
Your thumbs...show us with your noses.
So both up?
Both noses up.
Well done.
This was today's rough Courageous thumbs
about the film Bronson, which is coming to cinemas,
so even if you weren't in Vary you won't miss it.
Today's Thumbs were already last for this year,
we'll be looking forward to you next year. Bye.
