But, the goal is really to to give people access to resources that they wouldnĂt normally
have access to. You know, especially one and two man shops or small teams that that could
do great things and uh...but you know, what was holding them back was the access to infrastructure.
One of our early customers that that we used to always uh...love to talk about was a company
called Hello Interactive and they were, they're a little uh...they're a little agency and
they ended up getting a great uh...a great deal a great uh...customer which was the Teen
Choice Awards. And you know, it's a network uh...award program uh...but all the votes for
the Teen Choice Awards would happen online and so these guys would create content and
do great designs and build great websites, but now they had to find a way to actually
host an online voting application that was going to take millions of votes and then you
know, handle all this traffic up to a live network awards show. And so, you know, they
came to us and we uh...you know, we set them up and they just went through the standard
sign up process and everything and and Mike Wilhite who was was the guy running it at
the time you know, he uh...he used to say you know, "It was five minutes and we were up!"
And um...and and we went through I think that we uh...the first year something like thirty-five
million votes were processed and uh...you know, they didn't have to worry about any of that.
And that was really what we were trying to do is is take those kind of headaches out
of the way so that companies like like like uh...Hello Interactive and other companies
could go do great things without having to worry about all of the plumbing.
