BLACK LIGHTS Subtitles by Juan Zea (MrDonZea)
My name's Pedro.
I'm 14 years old and I've been kidnapped.
They all dragged me down a long and dark corridor.
My mother could do nothing to help me.
Now I'm trapped and I'm scared.
I can hardly see their faces and I don't know what their eyes and mouths look like.
That scares me.
One of the kidnappers is keeping watch over me.
He has placed a pencil and a notebook on a table.
I suppose he wants me to write a letter to my parents asking them to please pay my ransom.
I prefer to do that which I always do when my mind's filled with worry.
I'd like to be able to hide under my bed, until my mother or my father came looking for me.
Like they always do.
I don't like this place.
It's full of things I can find no use for.
They are very strange.
It will be very hard to escape from this building.
In films, kidnappers hide their hostages in abandoned buildings, such as hospitals, factories or schools.
But I'm a good guy and my mother says that nothing bad ever happens to good guys.
I'm alone.
I don't mind being alone.
I like loneliness.
I've found my kidnappers' operations room.
Here they communicate with their accomplices outside...
...and await confirmation on the payment of the ransom.
They could be here any minute. Maybe I could try calling for help.
My mother tells me very often that she loves me.
Maybe that's why she prepares me a ham and cheese baguette.
She knows it's the one I like the most.
This must be the place where they tie us up and torture us.
Where they cut our fingers off to send to our families...
...and put pressure on them to pay the ransom quickly.
Wait a minute. I've seen that picture elsewhere.
Whenever I go with my mother to the hospital, she always says that, if I ever get lost...
...I should follow those arrows, because they'll guide me to the exit.
I'm going to try.
My name's Carmen and I'm Pedro's mother.
When my son was 7 years old he was diagnosed with autism.
Today was his first day in this high school.
It must have been a tough day, but I trust him...
...and I know that even if he finds it hard, he'll manage to fit in well.
As always.
