Now that we have our tortilla strips all nice and coated, we're going to place them into
a 400 degree oven for about 5-7 minutes or until they're a nice toasty brown color, and
also until they're nice and crispy. One of the great things about the tortilla strips
is if you don't want to bake them, you want maybe just to have them a little bit crispier,
you can fry them in a deep fryer. They fry very well in vegetable oil. Just make sure
whenever you pull them out, you go ahead and season them while they're still hot, or you
can fry them on top of your stove, so either way. Any of those ways work and it's really
a great addition to your soup.
