Welcome to the Seeds of Music Channel. I'm Kyle Williams and today we're going to talk
about guitar string notes.
Okay, here we have the guitar with all the strings from the thickest to the thinnest.
Here's how they go:
This is the E string.
This is the A string.
This is the D string.
This is the G.
Then the B.
Then the E.
Both of these are the same.
It's just this E is one octave higher than this one.
Now what I just showed you is called standard tuning. There's plenty of other tunings
out there, but that's the most common one.
Now you're going to need to remember this, and the best way to remember it is a little
phrase I've devised, and it's pretty ridiculous.
Every
Armadillo
Does
Good
But
Eats
Yes, that's what I use to remember it. Um, but that one has been the easiest for me to
remember because it's so ridiculous.
So if that phrase has helped you remember the guitar string notes, go ahead and sign
up for the free email newsletter in the link below.
You'll get a free copy of my eBook, Bootstrapping Musical Ability, which is a step-by-step guide
to helping you build a strong musical foundation.
This is really, really important if you're just starting out. Alright, see you in the
next video.
