What attracted you to CR Systems in the first instance?
What I liked when I met you, Chris, is that you seemed enthusiastic, you were very flexible,
you seemed willing to go the extra mile, you thought up some things which I hadn't thought
about and you brought some fresh stuff to the table. So, that's what made me immediately
think he's the guy weíve got to work with and I didnít meet you for very long. I think
I was in the meeting for about half an hour out of the two hours that you were here. But,
it was clear to me you were going to be our supplier of choice.
I think in truth there were two major things. One was the ability to be flexible and adaptable
as far as the reports were concerned. We can actually customise them to the needs of the
organisation, to make sure that the competencies that were relevant to that organisation could
be met in the 360. I was looking at changing the supplier that
we had from a 360 perspective for quite some time. I was having discussions with my colleagues
to see if there were any providers that they'd heard and he mentioned that there was a provider
that he had that effectively offered a 360. The thing that attracted me to it was that
there was no contract in terms of the fact of the matters that we would certainly look
at it on an ad hoc or small basis and see how it applied. I think the key thing was
that CR360 wanted also have a look at us at the same that we were having a look at them.
The initial meetings and the way that - because we actually got together and had discussions.
So, for me, it started off small. We did almost like a trial run. We had meetings also with
other colleagues and the good thing for me was that we didnít have an account manager
and we weren't held at arms length in terms of this is how it works, you can only see
us this, you can only that. So, all those sort of standard rules went out the window.
Secondly, having looked at a number of example reports, the thing that impressed me was the
readability of the report and the way that the reports are presented means that they're
warm, they're responsive, people understand them and they go on understanding them.
