So now we have the body and the head and as we look over rat I want you to just examine
just to make sure that there are no cracks or crevices that need to be smoothed out because
this is a really crucial point in sculpting our rat to make sure that we have a solid
form to move onward from. So what we are going to do now is we are going to start to pull
the feet out and we are going to do it the same way we did the ears but we are going
to pull form the bottom and from the sides and we are just going to start to pinch and
we are going to let the clay do it on it's own time. We are not going to force it. If
we force it we might break the clay. So we will do it in small movements. Adding water
if needed. All the way around and we can come back and smooth but we want to make sure that
we are not changing the shape of the rat. The shape of the body we want to just keep
pulling the clay and I have got a little crack right there. So I am going to start adding
just a little bit of water. These are small feet and their also likely to break off if
we don't do them properly. So we want to make sure that we get it well attached and we also
want to make sure that it's on a level plain so that when we put our rat down the feet
don't break off.
