Eating protein for muscle is probably one of the most important things in anyone's program
if they're trying to put on lean tissue in the form of muscle. you can have the hardest
workouts in the world. You can train harder and longer than anybody else. You can have
maybe the best trainer or coach in the world, but without enough protein in your body all
those workouts will be wasted.
Your muscle tissue is made up of 70 percent water and about 30 percent protein. So protein
is absolutely mandatory for growing muscle tissue and keeping your body anabolic. I would
say good sources of protein would be beef, turkey, chicken, fish, eggs.
The way you prepare could also help to kind of break up the monotony of just trying to
eat. Because eating clean day in and day out can be a little bit monotonous on the taste
buds. So you want to make sure that you're maybe grilling the chicken, barbecuing the
chicken can be a good way. Use lean ***, if possible.
With beef, same thing, lean cut, sirloin rather than going with a rib eye or something like
that that's going to be much higher in fat. you want to keep your sauces of your protein
lean. Egg whites, as well, egg white omelets are a good source of protein.
I think it's important to remember that you can train as long and as hard as you want.
You can buy the latest, great pills and potions, but without getting enough protein in your
diet every single day, no matter how hard you train, no matter how long you train, you're
just not going to make new muscle. So make sure that you're getting the protein that
your body requires every day.
