This type of opening is called a crew neck opening, but it's a crew neck opening with
a rib neck and a clean finish. What that means is we're taking the clean finish aspect, the
crew neck style and the rib neck fabric, putting them all into one and coming out with a totally
different idea. Not different as in innovative but different as in it's not a crew neck,
it's not a crew neck with rib knit trim. And it's not a crew neck with a clean finish,
it becomes all three pulled into one. The crew neck part of it is in where, that main
lies in the opening itself. Crew neck is like a t-shirt, it's going to be hit at this part
right there. Just regular old circleish line. The rib part comes from the fabric that you
actually use to create it, which you show on your drawing as the straight up and down
lines. That's rib knit fabric. The clean finish means that underneath this you have another
part of the collar in the rib knit that you've sewn in here and then flipped it on itself
to allow for no seam lines to be visible.
