In today's episode, I'll walk you through the 3 important questions that you should ask yourself and consider before quitting your job.
My name is Jeremiah. This video is an introduction to my blog post.

The first question to ask is "Can your family sustain the loss of income?"
Starting a business is costly. Even if you’re doing something that is home based, you still have items you’re going to have to purchase to get yourself going.
On top of that, it’s going to take you a while before you will see good returns.
Are you able to go on without any income for awhile and still be able to support your family?
If not, you might want to consider building up your business part time first.
The second question to ask is "Do you know anything about business?"
Being a business owner is more than making a product or offering a service. It is knowing how to market yourself.
Anything that is related to business requires some form of selling. Are you comfortable selling?
Are you comfortable talking with strangers and building a rapport with them?
Building a business requires general thinking. Having only an innovative idea or skill is definitely NOT enough to succeed.
And the last question is "Are you comfortable with risk?"
To be a business owner, you have to be comfortable with leaving the safe, stable environment of a weekly paycheck.
You have to be able to go outside your comfort zone and be okay with results that can change minute by minute. You have to anticipate changes.
Because when there's changes there will be risk involved.
