Now we're going to give out little princess some arms and what I'm going to use for that
is this metallic twisty, you can find that in a craft store. You can also use pipe cleaners,
anything that is wired and easy to position. So we're going to wrap it around our Popsicle
stick, you can wrap it down on the bottom and then slide it up into position. And well
trim the wired twisty to about a little bit longer than the length that we want for our
arms. And then if you want to make some hands you can take a skewer or a pen, or anything
around and just kind of twist; twist it on like that and then you get a little bit of
a hand there. And, and she can even hold things with that hand; o.k... And then we'll put
a, we're going to make her a dress next. I've chosen some pretty ribbon. Again I'm choosing
metallic?s for our princess, and I've chosen this ribbon here. Now to, to put it up around
her neck I'm going to first cut a V in the top; a pretty deep V. So fold your ribbon
in half like this, fold the tip of the ribbon like this; fold the tip of the ribbon in half
and just cut at a diagonal, and that gives you a V on the top. And then what we can do
with that is we can sort of wrap it around her neck and glue it in the back. And that
will hold the dress on nicely. Now we want to trim the dress, leaving enough Popsicle
stick to be able to hold onto and play our Popsicle stick puppet. O.k. so now I'll glue
it and we'll finish off her dress. Let's finish our princess by giving her a flownsy skirt.
I'm using a clear wired ribbon and I'm just going to first trim off the messy end, and
then you just want to accordion fold the wired ribbon on one side; like this. Just accordion
fold it back and forth, kind of scrunching it. O.k... And then we're going to put that
at her waist, like this; kind of, kind of hold it into place. And I'm going to attach
it with another piece of wired twisty. So you want to wrap that twisty around the waist
and come into the back, and twist it on there tightly. And trim off the excess. And then
just bend it so it's not poking anything. And then you can arrange her, arrange her
dress, can slide it up a little higher and arrange her dress. I'll have to re-glue her
shoulders back here, they came out a little bit; it wasn't dried yet. And now these arms
can be positioned as a dancer, she can hold something. Alright, and then we have our beautiful
Popsicle stick princess.
