The corkscrew stitch is just like the wall stitch except,
instead of bringing the strands straight across we are going to bring them across diagonally.
Our top strand sits on the left and our bottom strand sits on the right.
We are going to take the top strand,
bring it down and to the right.
We'll take our bottom strand, bring it up and to the left.
Our first left strand sits below our first right strand.
We are going to take our first left strand,
bring it across and above our first right strand.
Then we'll take our first right strand,
bring it to the left below our first left strand.
We will repeat this with the rest of the strands.
Second left strand sits below the second right strand,
we are going to bring it above the second right strand,
we bring it across, then bring the second right strand down so,
you bring it to the left.
Pull on all eight strands to get a really tight stitch.
One more time, we are going to bring the top strand down to the right,
bring the bottom strand up to the left,
bring first left strand up and to the right,
first right strand down to the left.
Do that same thing with the rest of the strands.
Keep repeating this until you are ready for the finishing stitch.
