Hey Cookaholics, Chef Kendra here and today we're making Beer Cheeseburgers. We're going
to make a cheese sauce that we're going to infuse with beer. It's going to be delicious.
So let's do what we do and head into the kitchen and make it happen.
You know how we roll we have all our stuff ready to go. We have our pan under medium
heat and we're tossing in that butter.
After that's melted we added the flour and whisked it up a bit. Now we're pouring in
our beer, just like so. Just make sure you use a beer you actually like, that kind of
makes sense, right? We're just going to mix the beer in well.
Now we're adding our cream, you also can use half and half if you're feeling it. It's your
kitchen, do what you want. Just mix that in well.
Now we're adding the horseradish cream. You can find this stuff in the condiment area
of your local grocery store and it's milder than regular horseradish but still has a bit
of a kick.
Now we're tossing in some shredded sharp cheddar cheese and we're just going to stir that in.
We're going to go ahead and turn the heat off.
We going to lightly salt our 4 oz burgers, made from 80% lean 20% fat ground beef. We
going to grill over medium flipping once. Now it's nothing left to do other than put
this burger boy together. Some cheese sauce goes on the bottom bun, then our burger, up
next is more cheese sauce slattered on top, then some lettuce, I'm going with romaine
here. Next is a couple of slices of tomato and I tossed on some onion for good measure.
That's all is to guys.
OK, we're going to taste this. You can see that cheese that's been infused with that
beer. This is delicious. It has that beer flavor and that sharp bite from the sharp
cheddar cheese. It's more of an adult flavor. Very good.
