Hi welcome to WIT. My name is Gaby Escobar and I'm the project
administrator.
We all know that our world
is constantly in motion. Our landscape changes
as construction is part of our daily lives. New buildings are constructed
and old ones demolished. It is the true life of our economy.
There are many parts of the construction puzzle. They are architects
they are contractors and they are the workers.
The architects are the artist. The contractors are the means
the workers are the power that drives the construction effort. All these
stakeholders practice construction as part of their daily lives.
Well, what about the owner? Does it seem right that the conductor of the symphony is
the least experienced in construction?
Who's looking out for the owners needs? The answer is
WIT. An owners representative act as your guide through the construction
journey
always protecting what is in the projects best interest.
There are many duties an owner must assume to ensure
a successful project. The design must be both essentially pleasing
as well as functional. Bids must be solicited.
Budget must be managed and cost controlled. The design team and the contractors must
be both seen with a watchful eye.
The list is endless. As an owners representative
we take on this burden in your stand. While the owner's ultimately the manager
of the project
we act as an extension of your staff, consulting you in
every decision on every step of the way on every dollar spent
every day to ensure you're getting the best results.
At WIT, our principles have been based on many years of construction management
experience.
Collectively, our pool of resources possesses experience in the billions
but this is not the only reason why we are the best at what we do.
We generally love what we do every day completing a project where
everyone walks away with a smile and a good experience as our most
satisfying reward. Additionally, we at WIT go above and beyond the typical
owner's representative that only come to work. The owners rep
only offer contractor oversight in budget development but we take it to the
next level.
We offer value engineering, constructive ability planning review
critical path management scheduling, budget analysis bid management
project website design, contract development and review
design team selection, contract administration
change order management, payments review,
quality assurance and control, financial forecasting
and anything necessary for the completion of the project
-- on time -- on budget with the ultimate results.
Collectively, this is what makes us the best. It is not about having one part of
the equation.
It's about being the solution. WIT is incredible.
We truly have the best project managers. We do execute the most complex
projects.
We executed so many really challenging projects with such a variety of clients.
The things that I see that makes us the best is the level of involvement that
our executives have at each one of our projects.
So, no matter if it's a small or a multi-million dollar project,
we treat every project like if it's the first or last we will
ever perform. The second thing is what we call execution excellence
and that's why we have the very best work and processing procedures.
We make sure that when we execute a project that it is done with the highest
level of excellence
and that excellence is in all of our team members from the project manager
all the way to every person on the project. In order to have a
successful project
we must have the perfect team and we take a lot of pride when we're building
our teams
to make sure that we get the right fit for the job.
We consider their capabilities, their expertise
but also the personality to make sure that we get the best possible results.
I think that's what makes the difference. We perform jobs on a nationwide level
with experience on more than 4,000 projects in the government
and private sector. WIT stands for Whatever It Takes.
Our motto is that no job is too small or too big
and we will get the ultimate results regardless of the location of the
project.
