DAVID CLEMEN: Hi, I'm David Clemen on behalf Expert Village. And today, we are going to
paint a wooden food tray. All right, welcome back. Now, we're going to mix the colors to
get the--mix different paints for different colors for the different fruits. And I'm going
to start with the bananas and since I've already got this white and yellow combination. And
I'll go with a little bit of white, a good amount of this cadmium yellow and when it's
mixed with the white, it kind of turns into the color of a ripe banana. So once I get
my color that I want, I can just kinda come in here. And it's a little orange so I'm going
to actually add some more white to it, so it's more of a banana yellow. And I can actually
take just a smidgeon of black, just to kind of darken it up because you know when bananas
are ripe, they kinda get that darker yellow on them. And then, I'm just going to come
in, and fill in where I traced with the lighter paint before. Over here. Fill this area in.
And now I have my base for the bananas, and it's a little light so I'm going to come back
in and make it, like do a second layer of this so it can build up a little bit. Take
a little bit of that black and just build it up. And I might be going a little too dark
on that one but that's all right. Okay. And that's mixing the colors for your bananas.
