Hi, I’m Monica from Close To My Heart. Crafting colour-
coordinated projects is so simple with the Close To My
Heart exclusive colour palette. Grouped in four
families of ten harmonious hues each, plus two white
shades, our 42 colours help you fashion artwork like a
pro. Let me show you what I mean. The names of our four
colour families are basics, whimsy, adventure, and
enchantment. The ten colours in each group reflect the
group’s name. For example, the basics family includes
shades of brown, cream, and black. The adventure group
includes bright and vivid colours and so forth. The
colours in each family are designed to work well
together as well as across the four colour families.
For easy colour coordination, all 42 exclusive colours
are available in our signature white core cardstock,
swivel-top stamp pads, and re-inkers. We also offer
sets of mini pigment ink pads in each colour family.
You can also get our alcohol-based marker sets in
colours from the enchantment, adventure, and whimsy
colour families, plus two basic colours: Slate and
Whisper. Our signature white core cardstock is so
versatile because you can distress the cardstock and
the white core peeks through for a different look. Tear
the white core cardstock for dramatic borders and
colour contrast without adding more paper to your
projects. And now for a little bit on our incredible
line of inks: both our dye-based inks and pigment inks
are nontoxic and acid free to help your handmade
projects safely last through the years. Our US-patented
swivel top stamp pads are a necessity for any
scrapbooker. They’re designed for even the largest of
76 stamp images with no protruding edge to get in the
way. The 40 colours in our four colour families are
available in the swivel top pads and re-inkers in dye-
based ink. Dye-based ink is great for getting even,
bold colour coverage on your stamped images. It is
fast-drying, quickly absorbs into your paper, and is
easy to clean up. Because this ink is water-based it is
perfect for water brush and blending techniques. It is
great for craft projects like cards, gifts, and treats,
and many people choose the ease and flexibility of
these classic dye pads for scrapbook layouts that will
be stored inside page protectors. But you don’t have to
be a stamper to love our ink pads. Use them for
sponging ink for a soft look or for swiping across the
edge of your paper for a distressed look. Our dye-based
re-inkers will keep your stamp pads moist. Just drop a
little re-inker onto your pad to liven it up. You can
also use re-inker to change the colour of white or
clear products such as paint, ribbon, paper, Liquid
Glass, and more. That way you can personalize any
embellishments to match the rest of your page. You can
pigment ink pads come in sets of 10 according to colour
also use it to add splatter effects on your projects
like you see here. Such a fun technique! The mini
family. While dye-based ink bonds with the paper,
pigment dries on top of the paper for a chalky look. It
really pops on paper and has the added bonus of being
more light-fast than dye-based ink. Pigment ink works
very well on projects that may have greater exposure to
air or light, like mini album for example. Because of
the pigment finish, this kind of ink takes longer to
dry but the finished product is well worth the wait.
The handy size of these pads means that it’s easy to
carry several of them around with you. Our alcohol-
based markers come in sets of two markers. One in the
exclusive colour and the other in a coordinating colour
that is a bit lighter or darker than the exclusive colour
itself. They are paired this way so that you can use the
markers together for blending on your projects. These
markers provide smooth ink coverage and seamless blending
to add detail and dimension to your stamped image.
These coordinating inks and cardstocks in our exclusive
colours work together to create artistic harmony. To get
