Hi My name is Jamie with Yellow Barn Media. Do you know for sure that your business page
on Facebook is set up correctly? Well I'm going to tell you real quick today
the difference between a personal profile and a business page.
Some of you may already know this and if you do, I encourage you to share this video with
other people that may need this information. If you have a personal profile, that is on
Facebook, that is you as a person. So that would be Jamie Clark. That would be me. As
a person, as a person, on a personal profile, you have friends and that's where the "add
a friend" button comes in. If your business has an "add a friend" button, it is set up
incorrectly on Facebook. A business page has "likes". If you like a
business, that's the correct business page. So make sure to check your business and how
it's set up on Facebook. If you are one of those people that does have your business
set up as a person, you can switch it over to a business page. You will keep all of your
friends, they will become fans. However, you will not be able to keep and transfer, excuse
me, you will not be able to transfer all of your posts and your history over to the new
page. But, if you keep it as a personal profile, Facebook could shut you down because it is
set up incorrectly. So, I would encourage you today to make sure that your profile is
set up correctly. If yours is, share this video with someone that needs this information.
And if you are one of those folks that has it set up incorrectly, we encourage you to
correct it as soon as possible. Click the link below and you will receive instructions
on how to transfer that over to a business page. And once you do that, also feel free
to share it on our Facebook page as well. Yellow Barn Media hopes you have a fantastic
day and you have great success in these 31 Days to a Better Facebook page.
