MALE SPEAKER 1: Here we go.
Here we go.
MALE SPEAKER 2: Let's go big brother.
Have a good one tonight.
JACOB SOBOROFF: You're looking through the eyes
of 17-year-old Sam Tageson.
He is the San Jose Sharks' newest signing.
[CROWD CHEERS]
JACOB SOBOROFF: Sam suffers from a rare heart condition,
and thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Sharks
Foundation, he got to sign a one-day contract
with his favorite team.
And they gave him the all-star treatment.
MALE SPEAKER 3: It's the first time ever
the franchise has allowed somebody beside a player
through that shark head for the game.
There you see him shown on the jumbotron
as the whole crowd gave him an ovation.
JACOB SOBOROFF: You might be crying at home.
We've got people crying here in the studio.
If you want to see more great moments from the Make-A-Wish
Foundation, we've put together a playlist for you
after the show.
ALEX: Three snowboarders, looking to avoid tourists,
set out of find fresh tracks in Japan, and they found gold.
This beauty was shot on the island of Honshu,
and has less than 3,000 views.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
ALEX: It's a great snowboarding video,
but it's an even better travel video.
I've got to go Japan now.
JACOB SOBOROFF: This next video, it's just a boring old frog.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
JACOB SOBOROFF: [YAWNS] So boring.
[MUSIC PLAYING]
JACOB SOBOROFF: What the-- Italian artist and world
champion body painter Johannes Stotter posted this video back
in July, but it just started spiking.
You want to have a little fun tripping your friends out?
LIZZIE: Ever wonder what happens when Australians get bored?
This, competitive dinghy racing.
These two dudes are bombing a creek in southern Australia's
competitive dinghy circuit.
And the main race is more than 55 miles long.
[MUSIC - AWOLNATION, "SAIL"]
LIZZIE: The competition is actually in its 33rd year,
and if you can believe it, has a ton of rules,
including no modified fuel.
It's instantly my new favorite competitive sport.
Sorry, Connect Four.
JACOB SOBOROFF: Two men enter, one man leaves.
Or he would, if he realized he was being shot.
Filmmaker Olan Rogers's latest video
is about a duel between two gentlemen who
can't seem to hit anybody but the manservant.
MALE SPEAKER 4: You shot Alexander.
MALE SPEAKER 5: It must have ricocheted off
of a tree branch.
MALE SPEAKER 4: A tree branch?
MALE SPEAKER 5: What if we just give this thing, whole thing,
just a whole big do over?
MALE SPEAKER 4: Agreement.
[GUN SHOT]
MALE SPEAKER 5: Cranberries!
I hit Alexander.
MALE SPEAKER 4: What?
JACOB SOBOROFF: Monty Python is one of his biggest influences,
and it really shows in this classic from 2010.
[CAT MEOWS]
MALE SPEAKER 6: You know, I can smell your peanut butter lies
from here.
I'm confiscating this.
That's mine.
Ow!
OK.
OK.
All right.
Hey!
JACOB SOBOROFF: Head on over to his channel right now
to find out what his 600,000 subs already know.
MALE SPEAKER 1: Stump Earnest.
JACOB SOBOROFF: OK, Earnest.
Today's challenger is Michael Riemer.
Find the oldest video on YouTube.
EARNEST: Michael, your challenge actually
has me a little scared, 'cause I've never
seen the results of a double dose of devastation
on a challenger before.
Did you mean find the earliest upload?
I'll take you to April 23, 2005, at 8:27 PM, when
this pachydermic paragon became the first video ever
posted to YouTube.
MALE SPEAKER 7: They have really,
really, really long trunks.
EARNEST: If you mean find the oldest footage,
I'll send you to England, October 14, 1888, when
this two-second clip became the first celluloid film ever shot.
Michael, you know what they say.
Burn you once, shame on you.
Burn you twice, well, that's twice as much shame on you.
Double boom.
JACOB SOBOROFF: If you want to play with fire,
post your challenge with the hashtag stumpearnest.
Check back tomorrow for a really fun Saturday
show with the happiest videos online.
Until then, links are below, playlists are coming up,
and don't forget, Jimmy really wants you to subscribe.
Jimmy?
Now play us out.
Karmin.
