So today we're going to be making a baseball cap cake. And for that you can use just about
any size cake that you like. For this I'm going to use a 7 inch cake and were going
to use 3 layers. So I'm gonna set it on my board and just to make sure that the cake
is even were going to use a serrated knife. And then were going to give it a little icing.
That's going to hold the layers together. And then were going to add our second layer.
And were going to push it down just a little bit so it holds. And were going to cut the
second layer. And we'll add some more icing to this as well. And then we'll add our final
layer, push it down just a little bit and we'll cut this as well just to even it out
on the top. Alright and now that that's done were going to give it just a crumb coat and
what this does is it'll help seal the cake and it'll also help when you give it its final
icing on the top. We don't have to worry that this isn't so neat, because when we do our
baseball cap we're going to carve it out a little bit just to give it a round shape.
And this is going to hold our cake and were going to set this in the refrigerator for
maybe about half an hour or 45 minutes or so, so that it can set and we will carve out
our baseball cap.
