>>Erik: So, how do you define fulfillment? >>Tricia: I think that fulfillment for me
is the sense that I have, um, there`s always a vision inside me when I start a film. I
get a vision. And the vision is not really concrete, it`s not a scene by scene vision
where I know what the characters are. It`s more like a feeling of how I want people to
feel during and after the movie. So when I`ve actually achieved that, that`s an immense
sense of fulfillment for me as an artist, as a human being. There`s not better feeling.
You feel whole. You feel alive, like you know why you`re here.
>>Erik: How did you apply that framework before you were a filmmaker?
>>Tricia: Well before I was a filmmaker I was struggling to be a filmmaker. I was interested
in literature and story and the symbolism and the way story was structured. Always.
