In this video, I will briefly talk about choosing equipment and materials for your screen printing
practices. So the screen is made up of tiny little holes. There are hundreds of different
kinds of mesh counts. A mesh count is a lot like pixels on a computer. It's how many holes
per square inch. Industrial grade screens like this one, will come with, it's right
there actually, it says 230 over here. That indicates 230 holes. This one indicates a
hundred, oh, I'm sorry you can't see that, indicates a 110. The higher the count number,
the more detail you'll be able to capture on your work. It also affects your ink. If
you're using really, really heavy bodied ink, like glitter for example, you want less holes.
If you're using really fine ink, for like fine art prints, you want higher holes.
