So I'd like to suggest a strategy for you whenever you're playing poker dice. Basically,
the strategy exists for if you're playing in a small game. Which in most cases you will
be. You're playing short handed. You're not going to be playing this game, typically,
with more than say four or five people. Now, if you find yourself playing this game with
a roomful, you know, say ten of your friends. Then you need to play a tighter strategy where
and you want to stand pat on nothing worse than three of a kind. Because, with so many
people at the table, if you go early, someone can beat you if you stand with say a pair.
But the rule is, typically, short handed you're going to stand on any two pair. So, let's
say you've done that. You have stood on tens and nines and I get one roll to beat you.
Well, I got really lucky that time and got four of a kind. Look at that, only one pair.
So, let's say you've passed it to me again, you've stood on tens and nines. And look at
that! I actually beat you that time. But, most of the time, if you stand on any two
pair after one or two rolls, you're going to be in good shape.
