This is a song I wrote, my first one, and it's called: Thanksgiving in Montucky.
[Opening Chord] Thanksgiving in Montucky,
alone and
without you.
I *** things up, now there's nothing I can do.
So I'll have me another
pint of home brew.
[Strumming]
Living in the woods and giving thanks for what I've got,
a job and a roof and two cats I love a lot.
I don't have you, for that I give thanks. Now I'm learning about myself,
while I listen to the Hanks.
Thanksgiving in Montucky,
alone and without you.
I *** things up, now there's nothing I can do.
So I'll have me another pint of home brew.
[Strumming]
Giving thanks for my family and my friends far away,
but city life sucks, so in the woods I'll stay.
Got my Sube and my uke and plenty of snow,
I'm thankful for it all and that I learned to sew. [Strumming]
Thanksgiving in Montucky, alone and without you,
I *** things up, now there's nothing I can do.
So I'll have me another pint of home brew.
[Strumming]
I'm thankful for the past and how it's shaped me,
but life goes on, that it's plain to see. Next year may be different, but if it's not
I'll still have my brew and some Montucky pot. [Strumming]
Thanksgiving in Montucky, alone and without you,
I *** things up, now there's nothing I can do.
So I'll have me another pint of home brew.
[Strumming]
I *** things up, now there's nothing I can do.
So I'll have me another pint of home brew.
Happy Thanksgiving and drink up!
