If you had a chance to talk to President Obama right now, what would you say to him?
I'd say that his mother chose life for him and that he deserves a right to live. So does
everyone else in the country that he's supposed to be defending.
What Commandment defends the right to life?
The First one and the Fifth one, because you have to believe that God is above all else
and you can't chose for Him. But also, you can't kill a baby you can't kill... because
if you say that a fetus is just a blob of tissue, that's all we are as well. We're just
a bigger blob.
What is it going to take to finally overturn abortion in our country?
I think people just have to wake up, look around. This isn't a couple people. This is
a lot of people here and its not a small issue, it's the biggest issue out there right now.
If you look around there's only two-thirds of us that are here. We're missing a third
of our population. And that's just..not right. Okay, you have two best friends, well, if
abortion never existed you would have a third. What would that person be for us? They could
be the next Einstein, the next Isaac Newton. They could find the cure for cancer. But you
killed them. Now what are we going to do?
It doesn't matter if the media sees us or not, God sees us and that's what's important
to be faithful. And I believe that this is a way for us, who believe in the sanctity
of human life, to give some heroic witness to that in this cold weather.
And what do you think its going to take to finally overturn abortion in our nation?
I think its going to take people's hearts changing. Laws are great, but I think it really
takes the hearts of people to realize that life within the womb is real. It's a human
being and each is unique. And when people's hearts and minds are changed, then abortion
becomes unthinkable. And that is really what our goal is, to make it unthinkable. To make
it illegal would be great, but we need to make it unthinkable.
