How to Download Specific Type of Files Using Google

Hello viewers,this is a quick tutorial on how to download specific type of files using google. I am Nithin Kamath, for Utilize Groups.So lets get started. So the first thing, open Google. Lets say you need a PDF file on Nanotechnology, So go ahead and start with typing Nanotechnology. Here you have to type a google search operator called FILETYPE followed by a :(Colon) and type PDF (filetype:pdf) and press Enter. What this will do is, this will filter all your search results according to the filetype you mentioned/ As you can see, all the search results are the direct links for the PDF files on Nanotechnology. So go ahead and Click on the search results. Now the file is getting downloaded . The download is complete. As you can see, this is a pdf file on Nanotechnology. Similar to the PDF files you can also download powerpoint presentations. for that you have to just replace the word PDF by PPT. not only ppt you can also search for xls,that is Excel spreadsheet files or and any of the filetype you require. Depending on the filetype you mentioned the search results will be filtered. As you can see here, the search results contain the direst links for the PPT files.
