Hi! this is Tamara from moogly and I'm going to show you
how to change colors when you're working with stripes. When you come to the end
of a row, rather than
working the entire stitch as you normally would here I'm doing single crochet it's
normally
I would pull through but instead I'm just gonna
yarn over and pull through and rather than yarning over and pulling
through the last two stitches like I normally would
This is where I'll drop this color switch to the next color I'm going to use
and yarn over and pull through with that then I'll go ahead and continue
to work my next stripe using the second color
just as I normally would. Of course
depending on whether you're going to use it again you can cut this off and weave it in.
but
this shows more of a finished edge
without that weird color jog you can get when you don't switch this way
thanks for watching!
