I have decided that I will be going to China to further my eSports career
So I made the decision to leave my team
because I feel I wanted to take a bigger risk in China
as eSports as a whole is more widely recognised over there
However when I go across, I'm not sure if teaming up with the Chinese players would be a good thing or a bad thing
but I hope with this decision, I'll make a bit more money
It's not just for my own sake earning money
but I want to make eSports in Malaysia a wider recognised career.
For example, this is how I view eSports; Actually before me there was a player who went to China to grow (iG.Chuan)
and he's had great results earning lots of money.
I see this line like the NBA,
however teams in the NBA don't consist of friends and countrymen
rather, a mix of everyone, training together everyday and representing their team for competitions
My future plans are to go to China and play for a year
not knowing the results for certain
but after a year or 2, I hope Malaysia's eSports scene will be stronger than ever.
If we are talking further down the line, at 26 I won't be playing the game,
but I'll like to take a managerial or coaching role in the community.
As a person, I love games however I don't take DOTA as a game, rather like a profession.
Were you invited to go to China?
Yes, I was invited.
So you were poached over?
Haha! No it was also a matter if I wanted to go or not!
