>>Welcome to the iFALCON interview.
Many of our students who arrive at Cerritos College have gone through challenges both
personally
and academically,
during the course of their lives.
Alejandra,
can you kind of briefly describe
for me your journey
from a struggling student or very good student, wherever that path was,
can you kind of describe that journey
to where you are today?
So I'm hearing that you want to become a teacher.Uh... can you kind of share with me uh...
maybe what subject matter you'd like to teach, and at what level you would like to teach?
Oh, okay, all right.
Very good.
Where do you hope all this successes you've had thus far in high school and while you've
been here at Cerritos College,
where do you hope this will lead you, and why?
So, it's important for you to
give back
to the same system that has been very helpful to you....the education system? Okay, great.
As you know, the acronyms that we have for iFALCON, that represents
Focus,
Advance,
Link up,
Comprehend,
Organize,
and New ideas.
Today,
we're going to target Linking up.
Can you kind of again briefly uh... tell me
how do you utilize Linking up
to assist you with your continued success?
Great. How did you find out about
this whole
Linking up aspect?
If there's one
key item that you would like to other students to know
that has been really helpful to you
to be as successful as you have been, what would that be?
Okay.Okay. {laughter}Alejandra,
I'd like to first congratulate you on your success.
And also thank you so very very much for sharing your journey and participating in this
iFALCON interview.
