We're going to frost our top layer separately, and then transfer it on to, on to our other
cake. Now, first I want to add a little bit of filler underneath, to bring our cake up.
See, we still have a low spot here, and you can take a bit of that cake that we took off,
and put some frosting here, on the bottom of the cake, and we'll use that as glue, and
add on a bit of cake, to bring that up and level, and then you just , you get down eye
level with the cake, and you just check to see if that did the trick, and we have a fairly
even cake now. Now we just frost it, just like we did for our other cake, starting with
the sides first, and then the top, and then we'll transfer this cake on to the other cake.
Ok, now our top layer is frosted, and we're going to transfer it on to our bottom layer.
You want to use a sturdy spatula, not one that is flimsy, and you just slide it underneath
the cake, and carefully lift it. You can put your hand under there. Make sure that it's
well balanced, and just pull it away from the surface, and then just place it gently
in position. Now any seam, is going to be covered with a little bit of trim. We'll take
the pastry bag, and we'll make a little trim here, and so you won't see the seam between
the cakes.
