Welcome to "Protocol"!
I'm Lieutenant Colonel Goodman Manyanya Phiri
of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF).
This video is titled "Protocol".
Today's Monday, the 14th of
March, 2011..
..a very important time space!
3days ago, my Second Wife, Hlob'sile Happy Tsabedze, a Citizen
of the Kingdom of Swaziland
under Chief Malindza Tsabedze
KuMphaka
turned 20.
Five days ago: it's 10 years already
since I was falsely charged by
the Minister of Defence and Veterans' Affairs
in the Republic of South Africa.
The said Zuma Cabinet Minister is Me Lindiwe Sisulu.
Sisulu is trying to shield her fellow tribeswoman
who fornicated her way to generalcy
in the [SANDF] organization.
And, very importantly,
being Monday,
3days from now, I should,
as per orders of the said Mininister
be appearing in Court
..her military court... despite
the fact that
the President of the Republic [Zuma]
has [per letter] assured me that
this matter is still under his consideration.
We will come to that later on!
For now let me say: This is all about PROTOCOL.
Protocol demands
that
I should, just mention that
this is a make-shift studio
that I have made
and please forgive me
for any
imperfections in the way present
my story.
Protocol also demands that
I should talk about the NOISE
that could crop up here.
My wife is sleeping here.
She is with our 5-month-old daughter,
Tamara Sibusisiwe Phiri.
So, if the child starts crying while I'm talking...
please, bear with me!
Protocol demands that
I should also mention that
SHOULD GOODMAN MANYANYA PHIRI BE DYING
in this fight
under the leadership of [Jacob Zuma's] Sisulu,
I reject [with scorn] any military funeral.
I just want Sisulu or whoever else
handling my funeral to extend
monetarily what is due
to my family at Mayflower/Mpuluzi in Mpumalanga
the Phiri and Mavimbela Families
that they bury me in peace.
And ,nobody will be going to my funeral just to gloat.
The Phiris and Mavimbelas are poverty-stricken clans,
as my maternal second cousin-once-removed
Father Smangaliso Mkhatshwa
discovered the fact
when the cleric paid us a visit
some two years ago.
So, nobody gloats at my funeral.
They should go there with some contribution.
I have never been able...like a normal
former freedom fighter...
to make some living.
I have been fighting courts
for the past 10 years, being persecuted
by the Thembu tribe of
Nelson Mandela...
It's not the entirety of the Tribe, though;
but, "INDIVIDUALS"
that will come out in other videos
to follow.
This [particular video] is basically
an address to you, my Commander-in-Chief
and Your Excellency,
President Jacob Zuma!
In terms of protocol, I need
also to give recognition to
His Excellency
The President of the Republic of Zimbabwe,
President Robert Gabriel Mugabe.
This is in his capacity as Head of State.
Also due here is some recognition to His Majesty
King Mswati III.
He heads the Kingdom of Swaziland.
The recognition is for him in his capacity as
Head of State
and secondly, as
descendant of an ANC founding family
in 1912.
You might recall that the great-grandmother of the King
is not only Swazi Queenmother Labotsibeni,
who not only ranks as the greatest material contributor
[at least 200 cattle]to the founding of the ANC
by her son-law, Dr. Pixley ka-Isaka Seme,
but Her Majesty was also an ANC founding member.
So, the King of Swaziland
is in essence
an honorary member of South Africa's ruling party,
The ANC and an organization we love so much.
It is the ANC government that is ruling in South Africa today under President Zuma
and I, as a soldier, am very loyal to that government.
The King will be very instrumental in forging the way forward
in so far as how we solve
the Thembu tribalism
practised by individuals
from the Thembu Tribe of the Eastern Cape
where Nelson Mandela, Lindiwe Sisulu (Jacob Zuma's Defence Minister),
and a couple of other guys come from,
(not forgetting the Acting Chief of the SANDF,
Lieutenant General Temba Matanzima).
The King of Swaziland
also comes
in His capacity
as The Guardian of Swazi Cultural Heritage.
This Swazi Heritage is to be found both in Swaziland as well as in South Africa.
President Zuma! Your Excellency, and My Commander-in-Chief!
It should not just be a question of votes
that Your Excellency visits the King in Swaziland;
"so that the Swazis, the majority of whom
are in South Africa
..that they should vote for the ANC".
But it should rather be a question of genuine respect to Our King.
I therefore, call upon His Majesty
that every so often Your Excellency Visits His Majesty,
the latter should bring up the issue of Lieutenant Colonel Phiri.
My President! Your Excellency!
My Commander-in-Chief Zuma!
I also need to highlight the fact here that
His Majesty Mswati III also comes in here
as my maternal Fourth Cousin.
In the case of my death [at the hands of any corrupt and racist South African regime],
the King and other blood relatives of mine should understand
who has caused my death.
It will obviously be the very same
Thembu Tribe
of Nelson Mandela's.
Not the entirety of the Tribe
once again;
but some individuals.
The Swazi King is also a guardian to my Second Wife as well as my 5-month-old daughter.
I got married recently
to the daughter of Mr Nkunzikayibaleki Tsabedze
from the Tsabedze Chieftaincy of
KuMalindza (Mphaka) in Swaziland.
Her name is Happy Hlob'sile Tsabedze.
If I should be killed or assassinated here
because of this current fight [with black racists pro-Eastern-Cape Province]
I do not expect a decent funeral.
And that is the reason why I reject [and despise]
[any Sisulu attempt to try and bury me].
I REJECT ANYBODY'S DARING TO SPEAK FROM THAT SISULU-CONTROLLED SANDF ORGANIZATION!
I am talking my own obituary now.
Surely, and I do not know if anybody had ever observed &said as much before
but The Obituary Is The Highest Form Of Protocol.
Having talked about His Majesty, King Mswati, 00:06:42.100,00:06:46.000 I have now also to give recognition to His Excellency
President Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete.
Kikwete is currently the Head of State
in the country where, 26 years ago
I first saw myself victimized by
members of [Eastern-Cape's]Thembu Tribe
where Nelson Mandela comes from.
Indeed I was in Tanzania, when that first happened.
For that reason, I do give recognition to the Tanzanian Head of State.
I have highlighted His Excellency Kikwete as Head of State.
But he is also the chief guardian
to my First Wife
and my two Tanzanian-born children.
My said wife is Me Leonilde Makafu-Phiri.
Our children together are
Mercedes-Thoko Phiri (b.1994) and Maziri Phiri (b.2010).
They are all of them resident in the Iringa Province of Tanzania.
The name of their Village is Mninga.
Of course, I also owe compliments to Honourable Lindiwe Sisulu.
Indeed, she is currently the main force behind my persecution through the courts.
Yet I lose no sight of the fact that she remains my Minister of Defence.
There are 50-50 chances that she is persecuting me most deliberately; or because of a delusion engineered by her misinformers.
Lindiwe Sisulu largely views me as her enemy.
Still, I regard and pay due obeisance to her as my Minister of Defence.
And by the way, I also
need to mention that
by coming public on [these matters]
was per permission of the office of Chief SANDF
10 years ago
when I had complained to him
as to why mere allegations against me
which, even worse, were based on a victimization ploy
in order to shield
a cousin of Nelson Mandela's
Brigadier General Winnie Ntombizodwa Zini-Bobelo
who fornicated her way up
to becoming a general
from being a mere Major
...then SANDF General Sphiwe Nyanda's office responded
that [it was also my prerogative to use the mass media if I so wished].
That part I think I need also to leave on record here.
Before my time on this video elapses
I need to say again: I am Lieutenant Colonel Goodman Manyanya Phiri.
[My Branch of the continent-wide Phiri Clan] are Matanje waMphunoNgaNdunyungu.
I was born on the 4th May 1961..it was a Thursday
My parents are not sure anymore whether born
in Ermelo, Amsterdam,
or on the farm "The Brook" 30 km en-route
to the Oshoek Bordergate with Swaziland.
My father, Mr Bright Phiri, is deceased.
His own father, long deceased [too]
was Mr Jacob Phiri.
[Jacob lies buried] in Chilumba, the northern part of Malawi.
And his own father too
is Mr MaziriYaNkhunda Phiri
born probably in Mzimba
Central Malawi.
My great-great-grandfather is General Pikamalaza Phiri, Commander-***-surgeon General
to the forces of Zwangendaba
who moved form South Africa,
particularly from
present-day KwaZulu-Natal and Swaziland
moving northwards
during the Mfecane/Difaqane.
And, that is that!
In terms of my ethnic group, I am Tumbuka.
Tumbuka is one tribe or ethnic group
among the huge Nyasa Nation
to be found in Mozambique,
Malawi, Tanzania,
and Zambia, mostly.
Maternally, I am ethnically Swazi.
"Mavimbela"
is the clan name
where I come from maternally.
The Mavimbela Clan Name bears the following Praises:
"Ngubo YeNgonyama!" "Mdlomane wezinNdlovu!"
"Maqaqa awahlali ndawonye ngokunukelana!"
"Makholo Ansundu Nezinyawo Zawo!"
"Makholo Amahle!"
In that respect of my mother, I am also
related to the Royal Nkhosi-Dlamini.
That connection is what makes me a fourth cousin
to His Majesty, King Mswati III.
My mother being Belinda Thokozile Mavimbela-Phiri
mothered by Princess Eleanor Mafede Nkhosi-Mavimbela,
who was fathered by Swazi Prince Sigeyeza Nkhosi
Prince Sigeyeza Nkhosi-Dlamini was the first cousin to Swazi Queen Mother Labotsibeni.
who is a co-founder of the African National Congress.
If one reads history, or you many not be fortunate enough to find it written anywhere,
but when Prince Malunge Dlamini,
a child of the Swazi Queen Mother's
visited South Africa in 1913
to query the issue of
land appropriation from Africans by the Apartheid and of course British colonialism
that Prince was met by
my maternal great-grandfather
Prince Sigeyeza.
Also, when the Second President of the ANC,
Sefako Mapogo Makgatho
sent [a delegation] to that part of South Africa
(present-day Mpumalanga Province)
to seek for contributions so that..
...a second delegation could be sent to London,
it was still my great-grandfather who received them.
The rain [with a deafening sound on the roofing here] is falling
and I apologize once again.
This is a make-shift studio and its material: metal roofing sheets.
Of course, my maternal great-grandfather featured greatly
when, in 1922, [my 3rd Cousin] King Sobhuza II
visited the Eastern Transvaal (as then so was called present-day Mpumalanga Province).
Prince Sigeyeza Dlamini (my maternal great-grandfather)
is the son to Prince Khenkhana Nkhosi-Dlamini,
who in turn is the son to [my 3rd great-Gran], Swazi King Sobhuza I.
That is all I should like to say.
The noise from the rain on these tiles will not allow me to continue any further.
THANK YOU!! Your Excellency and My Commander-in-Chief!!
President Jacob Zuma!
