Hello - welcome back to Conference Room Systems,
where we provide affordable USB video conferencing solutions
and our goal is to demystify all of the video conferencing
cameras and microphones that are out there today that you can use with
all the cloud-based video conferencing solutions like Microsoft link
Cisco Jabber WebEx Skype Go ToMeeting
you name it! What I'm here today to talk to you about
is the Logitech ConferenceCam CC3000e
and the BigShot HD camera lineup
So let me just talk a little bit about both and where and which
situations they would be best in.
so the BigShot HD camera line is very unique because it comes
in actually five different camera models and the field of view there is where the
BigShot really comes into play
the pan tilt model actually has a 140 degree field of view
no optical zoom but at a price that's only $599
Then it goes up to a 3x 720
and a 3x 1080 model at $699 & $799
that it has a 3x Wide, which is a 110 degree wide field of view
3x optical zoom giving a little capability to zoom in
and then finally the model I have here, one of my favorites, which is the 10x optical zoom model
Which is a 75 degree field of view and it's $999
So it's the same price as the Logitech ConferenceCam. Both of them are very
different and we're going to talk about that right now
Let's talk about the Logitech conference can see CC3000e:
this is a 1080P camera , so
versus a 720P camera, both of them are 10x optical zoom
but the Logitech camera has a ninety degree field of view
so you pick up an extra 15 degrees but one
of the biggest biggest differences is here is that
from the camera we have a proprietary cable
this is about 20 feet long and it goes to the Logitech
hub, and this hub connects to
the USBmicrophone that comes with it, the microphone speaker phone that's
actually Bluetooth capable...
awesome product from Logitech
you can actually control the pan tilt zoom from that speaker phone
so it's awesome and they both come back to this hub and your USB comes out here
that can be an issue if you have to use a core hole
or you need to extend USB beyond just twenty feet
that is where the Big Shot has come into play
now there's also other things the BigShot has, the BigShot has
USB out, so yes we can use a 300 foot USB extension and get this camera mounted anywhere
but it also has RS 232
that means we can easily integrate it have a controlled by an Extron or a Crestron
control system
or you can use our Young Monkey control software
for only $150 and actually control this remotely
the full pan tilt zoom software capabilities from
any PC using Windows 7, so that's one nice thing
an other thing this camera has ten presets
so you can preset 10 locations and quickly go back and forth between
them. I'm surprised how quickly this camera can move
IUt also has slow and fast
pan tilt zoom on the remote control also
has the ability to flip the image so this
include a ceiling mount so you can ceiling mount this camera easily
and then flip the image and have it show right side up when it's mounted upside down.
this camera
comes with a wall mount, this camera
comes with the ceiling mount. With the BigShot HD
you can control up to five cameras with one remote control
and just by changing the DIP switches on the bottom. This camera
has a very basic Logitech
remote control and you can just control one
per room, so lot of differences here
the BigShot fits in a lot more Professional AV where you're trying to
use a control panel
a touch panel or an area where you need to use conduit and you wanna run
USB over CAT5. The Logitech CC3000e
for $999 is a perfect all-in-one solution
one-and-done you got your speaker phone you got your Bluetooth capability
you have your 1080P camera and you're ready to go
which one USB connection to the end user's computer
so those are some other differences we have here and if you have any questions
