If you'd like to set up featured channels on your YouTube channel, stay tuned, watch
this very short video and I'll show you exactly how.
Hi, there, David Walsh here, from DavidWalshOnline.com and in this very short video, I'm going to
show you how to set up featured channels on your YouTube channel.
Now, you may have noticed those featured channels on the top right of your YouTube channel,
which have been, typically, added there by YouTube. But you can add your own, and there
are many advantages to doing this. Now, if you have friends who have YouTube
channels that you want to help to promote, you can add those channels there.
If you have your own YouTube channels that you want to add there, as well, you can, also,
do that, as well. Or if there are channels that you really like and you really want to
help them, you can, also, do that, as well. Now, if you are promoting someone else's channel
on there, whether it is a friend's your own or someone else's, you can ask them to get
them to do the same for your own channel, so you have cross-promotion of your channels
on YouTube. Now, when you cross-promote like this, you
can get more viewers and subscribers, which will help accelerate the success of your channel.
So, let us head on over to a YouTube channel now, and set up featured channels on there.
Ok. So, to add a featured channel, it's very easy. You go up to your own YouTube channel,
so go up to the top and click 'My Channel', and then on the right hand side, you click
on 'Add Channels' under the featured channels area, here.
So, click on 'Add Channels', and all you need to do is to add in a channel name or URL.
So, I'm just going to put in... DavidWalshOnline.com, click on 'Add'. And then you will have the
channel icon pop up and, also, the name right there.
And, you can add a lot more channels, there if you want.
You can, also, change this section title, as well. So, If I wanted to change that to
'Channelz', click on 'Done'. And you'll see that 'Featured Channelz' has changed, and
I, also, have my DavidWalshOnline YouTube channel, right here on the featured channels.
And if you want to edit this, you just click on the little pencil icon right here 'Edit
Module' or 'Remove Module'. You can do either, or with that, and you can add more, as well.
So, if you click on 'Edit Module' you can add more channels as you want.
So, there you go. That's how easy it is to add featured channels to your YouTube channel.
And, as I mentioned, previously, you can help cross-promote your channel with someone else's
and they'll cross-promote your channel, as well, so, that you get a lot more subscribers
and viewers to your channel. Now, if you're interested in getting more
viewers and subscribers to your YouTube channel, make sure to check out my free Video Traffic
