Hi! Welcome to earthslivingclay.com's YouTube channel. Today I have a great recipe for you
that is a super easy way to get pure calcium bentonite clay
into your diet and the diet of loved ones.
This is a banana oatmeal cookie
and it calls for
two to three super ripe bananas. And it's important that they're super ripe,
number one, for the sweetness,
and number two, because what you want to do,
you're going to start by mashing the bananas
into a glass bowl.
To that, I'm going to add
half a cup
of unsweetened
applesauce.
I think you'll find
with the bananas,
and then we're going to add Craisins, that that is really plenty sweet,
you know, if you're trying to cut back on sugar which is a good thing.
Unsweetened applesauce,
and to that I'm going to add
a cup and a half
of rolled oats.
Now, it's important
that you use
ROLLED oats, and not steel-cut oats.
And the reason for that is that the steel-cut oats,
we're going to bake this, and they don't quite
give the same texture
to the cookie
that
regular rolled oats do.
These are uncooked oats, they're not cooked at all.
And then
the final food ingredient is Craisins. You could also add
raisins or some other dried fruit. And again, these are going to add sweetness to it.
And it's just a handful,
it's not a particular measure,
as much or as little as you like.
And you're going to
blend those together. And then
of course,
we're going to add our pure calcium bentonite clay
for internal use.
This is a great detoxifier, it's highly alkaline, it has a pH of 9.7.
I'm going to add a tablespoon
to this particular recipe,
because this is going to make many
several cookies.
In spite of the fact that
we're going to put this in an oven and bake it,
that has no impact
on
the effectiveness of the clay
because calcium bentonite clay,
the clay that we sell,
comes from
the Mojave Desert and started it's life
as volcanic ash,
which there's not much else
hotter on Earth than lava
coming from a volcano.
So what I've done is I've mixed that up good
into the bowl, there's no other ingredients.
I have a convection oven and I bake this at 350 degrees
for
20 minutes in a convection oven.
If you don't have a convection oven, in a regular oven
it's 35 minutes, 350 degrees, keep an eye on it.
You can either
grease your cookie sheet or
use parchment paper,
either way.
And then just take a spoonful
of the mix
and put it on
your baking sheet
like so.
And then
cook that,
and then 20 minutes later or 35 minutes later,
depending on the oven,
you have a delicious little
banana oatmeal cookie.
These can be frozen
and you can
grab 'em and go in the morning.
And, best of all, they've got pure calcium bentonite clay.
I hope you find the recipe useful.
