Hi Barry it's David from the OnePotChefShow channel here now you challenged me to make
a traditional English dessert known as a spotted *** I decided to give it a go and God do
we get a lot of jokes out of the name of that one but i'm going to challenge you to do something
that's very popular here in Australia and over in New Zealand there's a bit of a rivalry
between the two Countries as to who invented it but it's a fabulous meringue dessert it
is so delicious and you can do absolutely anything with it you can adapt it to your
own personal taste it's amazing it's the good old fashioned pavlova and I would love to
see your spin on it. Howdy folks and thanks David from the One
Pot Chef Show for the pavlova recipe challenge i've made a snickers one down there, lets
do it. Oh yeah if you wanna have a go at making this
snickers pavlova which I hope you do hit pause on the video now write all these ingredients
down, this is how you do it. First up grab yourself a mixing bowl pour in your egg whites
then with an electric whisk whisk them all together until they are nice and stiff you
want them so stiff that you could tip a bowl upside down and they wouldn't fall on your
head. Gradually add your sugar to the egg whites in batches continuing to whisk until
it's thoroughly combined then drop in your vanilla extract and a little bit of cornflour
then whisk again until it's all nice and shiny and stiff to shape the pavlova I got some
baking parchment and drew a circle with a marker pen and plate and began to dollop my
egg white mixture all around the circle building it up until i've got a nice big mound of egg
white loving. Once you are happy with the shape of your pavlova whack it into the oven
mine took 40mins I did it just until it was starting to go brown as you'll see here then
all I did was put it back in the oven turn the oven off and just let it cool down naturally.
With the pavlova fully cooled transfer it to a plate and then grab a clean mixing bowl
and electric whisk then began to whip up some double cream get it until nice and softly
thickened then plonked in some peanut butter pieces and folded that through with a spoon
to make a nice creamy peanut butter oh my goodness. And finally it was time for the
fun bit I grabbed my peanut butter cream worked it all over the pavlova arranged some snickers
slices on top a load of toffee sauce a load of chocolate sauce and some bashed peanuts
just to finish it off. Oh my goodness guys this tastes so good I
feel like I wanna be micheal jackson right now leg kick spinning around my kitchen you've
got that snickers flavour you've got that crunchy meringue and that peanut butter cream
just working it's way all through. So if you enjoyed this video don't forget to give it
a thumbs up share subscribe comment - subscribe to my *** kitchen and David the OnePotChef

for watching guys, see you next time.
