Hi! I'm Robin with trees-mom.com. We're making a video today for Expert Village. We are crocheting
wire to make a Gothic bracelet. This is my black wire. To get started, we're going to
make a loop and we're going to make sure that we leave a tail that we can hold on to. We
make a loop. Then we bring the wire around to the bottom part of the loop. Make another
loop and pull it up through. Then we pull the tail and it tightens the loop. This loop
is adjustable. You can make it as big or as little as you need to, but you don't want
to make it too little, or it'll be too hard to get your crochet hook in. You need to try
and make sure that each loop that you make is uniform. The same size. Not a great big
one and then a teeny tiny one. That's easy to do with this loop. We're going to hold our tail part of our wire
in this hand and our thumb and our finger are going to hold right where the loop is
on our other hand. This holds it securely. Your crochet hook is going to right in this
loop like that.
