Doctors form a team and in this team radiologists are a very important group,
but their role is not so well known.
A lot of people think we are only photographers,
but we have a very important role in making a diagnosis.
It's important for the public to know what role we play.
Among oncologic diseases,
lung cancer is one of the main causes of death.
That's why we think that dedicating IDoR
to thoracic imaging is important.
It's a way of making our job understood by the public
and getting closer to people.
On November 8, to celebrate IDoR,
SERAM (Sociedad Española de Radiologia Medica) is organising a small meeting in Madrid.
I will participate by giving a presentation.
(A meeting with whom?)
With radiologists and the public in general,
for instance patient groups concerned with pulmonary fibrosis.
Celebrate the International Day of Radiology with us on November 8!
