I promised to make sure people could have their say about what they wanted to see happen
in their own local areas; on jobs, infrastructure, services, the local environment, and what
they expected of their government.
We’ve worked *** a strategic plan, to deliver the change people asked for in NSW
and we want to build your local priorities into it.
You might be thinking ‘not another plan’.
And like you, I’ve seen too many plans not delivered but when I launched the first of
24 state wide meetings - in Parramatta - Ministers and I worked with community representatives
in groups to localise our goals and targets.
In my experience, you are more likely to achieve the important things if you outline your goals,
allocate the dollars and responsibilities, and measure the progress you are making.
It’s the hard, detailed work that leads to success.
My Ministers and local MPs invite you to a local meeting.
No government can do everything, but we can make sure the resources we have are focussed
on your local priorities - so your plan becomes our plan.
