Now we can look at the D minor triad voicing and position. The notes in D minor are D,
the root, F the minor third and A the fifth so we will play the chord starting with D
on the seventh fret of the third string and that is the root and then we'll add F the
third on the fifth fret of the second string and then we will add A the fifth of this chord
that is on the fourth fret of the first string and that gives us D minor in position on the
third string and this voicing can be moved up twelve frets and we will get the same exact
chord only one octave higher and the same voicing so know that it is there and available
if you need it.
