interview i'm excited for the release i'm excited for everything.
About the first chapter release right?
This is... well i release the prologue this is the release of the first chapter
of the game
but i did release the prologue probably back in september so it has been a while.
yes it is the first time we're doing this so i guess I'm...
a little bit too excited ... nevermind anyways so we should describe what your game is about
for the people who don't know about the yet.
For the people who don't know,
its a typical RPG where you're trying to find your way home to find your
sister and
it sounds very simple but it actually gets very complicated as you find
yourself
stuck involved with some of the inhabitants
this mysterious land whether you find yourself on.
so there's a lot going on. That sounds great yeah i don't like to give away too
much because you know it goes.. it startsvery simple but it gets to something
much greater eventually hopefully alright you said the release is upcoming thats why
we doing this here soooo
what's new? This new update has about uh... about two more
dungeons some um.. a lot of optional equipment and stuff to find it has
many more it is that many more minigames ,puzzles
things like that
so it has a lot of stuff
did you change a lot? I would say..
the prologue has remained consistent this new chapter will double the
length of the game but the first release
in fact wasn't very long so it'll go from about one hour of gameplay
to two hours of gameplay three if your really into grinding
i also enjoyed playing your game
uh... you saw me in my let's play yeah i enjoyed
i enjoyed it nonetheless
yes even though you didn't understand too much i guess
anyway um..
there where a lot of exciting systems in your game that's and drew my interest for example
for example the maps where you through the knifes at the head of the bandits you know?
yea!
i think i think it's important to keep RPGS fun to play so
a lot of the game will have a lot of really fun and
sometimes pointless minigames but those go keep your attention and i dont think they will be too
frustrating for example they are not too punishing if you lose for example ok sooo
if your bored
and don't want to go on with the story you can enjoy yourself with the minigames right?
right theres lots of stuff and I'm trying to make them
rewarding so they will give you
you know optional equipment and stuff you can't buy
in the store normally so... i really love
that idea uh... and talking about fun so many systems surely have
one or two bugs in them that keep you busy right? yea you know i'm ... i did
a simple playthrough of the game and i have
about four posted notes on my desk filled with bugs that i have been crossing out
just trying to finish anything up before
the end of the month
Are there any especially funny ones
funny..ooohhh.. there has been to many of theme.. we where discussing this before but there is
the island i added an elemental weapon in
since i've buffed up elemental attacks i didn't test them
in conjunction with weapons so
turns out that island yea it deals about ten times more damage that it's supposed to.. you
end up two shotting the first boss of chapter one and it just doesn't make the game very
challenging.. pretty funny. so like on that island if you hit the ground
you will split the island right?
yea pretty much it's ridiculously overpowered but i have to
ballance those
i'm looking to my list and see if i have some... there are some
miscellaneous things that i have kind of
i'm really trying to get the game finished so
i haven't done a full playthrough
it kind of shows cause now there's a whole brunch of bugs that i have to go back to and fix
but at least its wrapping up in fact that I've only one cutscene left
and ill be finished with this so..
nice and you told me something about the savefiles Right. So saves i don't
think will be compatible because i'm changing so much of the balancing and the stats
but
i will include a generic Savefile for the people have played through the prologue and i
don't think we mentioned this but the chapter one will include the prologue as well
for chapter one the new really include the prologue and chapter one so you can play
them both without downloading both
if that makes sence. Alright thats about it for the first update preview the first updates review
uh... when you're going to release the update?
the afficial date is Febuary 1.
