When you are at the top of the food chain, you can sleep wherever you want to! Lions
don’t need to worry about other animals trying to hurt them, so they can sleep all
day. ...up to 20 hours if they feel like it! Good night, lion king.
Chameleons spend their days roaming around on the ground, looking for food, but at night
they like to curl up in a tree, or a bush, away from any predators that might be lurking
nearby. A chameleon will sleep for about 12 hours each day.

I can HEAR you! This adorable little desert fox has special ears that help him hear signs
of danger, even when they are snug in their dens sound asleep. Desert foxes are nocturnal,
which means they stay awake all night long, hunting and playing outside while it’s not

Koala bears are very sleepy animals. They will sleep for. 16 hours a day! That’s more
than half of their life asleep. They like to lounge in the branches of a eucalyptus
tree, high up where they can stay safe, and away from danger. Sleep tight, koala bear
Meerkats just love to be close to one another. They fall asleep, all nestled together, deep
in the long burrows that they dig in the dessert ground. They will even share their den with
other animals, like mongoose and squirrels! Sleep tight, cute meerkat...
Cute, cuddly pandas are very good at sleeping. They like to curl up on a warm rock, and take
long naps. Sleeping helps the panda to digest all of the bamboo that he eats all day long.
