Hello, Everyone.
It has been a long time.
It has!
Why didn't you say hello to the viewers?
Hello. I am Kyung-hwa Sun.
Alright. Kyung-hwa,
Yes.
What are we making this video for?
A new book has come out!
A new book! My Weekly Korean Vocabulary!
This new book, what kind of book is it?
You might be able to guess by reading its title; it has a list of vocabularies. It is full of expressions that have each keyword in them.
Exactly. It is 12-weeks' worth of daily studies, isn't it?
Yeah, for 12 weeks.
And we also recorded all the expressions. You can listen to them at TalkToMeInKorean.com.
It is written on the back here.
It says that you can see all the audio files if you go to TalkToMeInKorean.com/weekly-vocab-audio.
Also, we worked really really hard to make this book, didn't we?
What kind of work did you do?
Me? Actually, I like drawing, so, if you look at the book, each expression has its own drawing.
And I drew a lot of the illustrations that represent each keyword.
Okay. Were many of them [your drawings] selected?
Nope.
I think I drew about twenty illustrations, but maybe five of them (were selected)?
So, it means that we didn't just select any drawings.
We received a lot of drawings explaining each word from many people, didn't we?
Yes, we did.
And amongst those, the designer of this book chose the most appropriate drawings, and put them in this book.
And there are 20 expressions using each keyword, 20.
Yes.
From short ones to long ones.
So, for example, there is a word "to be small" here.
And then there are short expressions like "small sound", "small city", but the last expression is really long.
"These shoes don't fit me because they are too small. Please show me something a bit bigger."
(It has) even this long sentence!
So, from very short expressions to very long ones, we wrote 20 expressions, which have a keyword in them, that we often use.
Just like Kyung-hwa said, [there are] even very difficult sentences, [and] since it has even really long sentences, regardless of whichever level you are at, you will find it interesting to study with this book.
And my wife is American.
Right.
She is a foreigner, so she studies every day with this book in the morning.
While studying, she practices speaking these sentences to me, which is really good.
If you study not only Korean, but also other languages this way, I think it would be good since it is fun and you can learn a lot of useful expressions.
I am going to say it again. We worked really really hard to make this book, everyone.
We didn't want to just say "we worked hard (on making this book)", so we are showing you the contents of the book, and letting you know how you can study with this book in this video.
We have actually made another video which shows the book in more detail, haven't we?
Yes.
Where can people see it?
Ummmmm, on YouTube?
If you click on this, you will be able to watch it.
It is your job to put the clickable button here.
So, you could say anything.
Shall I put here? Or here?
If you go there, you can see what this book has in more detail.
I was in panic.
It is you who edit videos.
Yes. Right.
I hope you like the book "My Weekly Korean Vocabulary".
It is available at MyKoreanStore.com!
So, this is Seokjin Jin, and Kyung-hwa Sun!
Thank you.
Bye!
