Glee nabs an Oscar-winning guest star, Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin, and an American Idol's
Adam Lambert behind bars? I'm Alex and I've got today's big entertainment buzz in this
edition of Reel TV News. Glee's already got quite an impressive line-up
of cameos for the 2nd half of season 3, from latin hip-shakers to an Atlanta housewife,
but now they're adding an Oscar-winner to their guest-star arsenal. Helen Mirren will
be featured on an episode next month, but won't actually be appearing on-screen at all.
According to TV Line, she'll play the internal voice of the one of the characters - who shall
remain nameless for now - so be sure to tune in for her debut on January 17th.
The first teaser for HBO's upcoming film "Game Change," about the 2008 presidential election,
hit the web yesterday, and the net is buzzing with chatter about the first glimpse of Julianne
Moore's portrayal of Sarah Palin. Check out the preview on SideReel's Facebook fanpage
and let us know what you think - is Julianne's portrayal an upgrade or downgrade from Tina
Fey's version? According to The Hollywood Reporter, former
American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert was arrested for assault and spent the night in a Finnish
jail after getting into a bar brawl with his reality star boyfriend. The two were arrested
outside of local gay bar Don't Tell Mama, and have since been released following questioning.
According to Adam's twitter, the couple is already laughing about the incident over 'hangover'
burgers. Don't miss us too much over the holidays, and be sure to check back with us next time
for more celebrity buzz from SideReel.
