Logan, an identical twin, was born with a severe congenital heart defect. By age 10, he had over 25 surgeries that had their own complications. Logan's heart was failing and he received a new heart when he was 13. The surgery went well but he went into rejection which led to more hospital stays and more unknowns about his future. Logan and the Bushaw family shared their story at the Twin Cities Heart & Stroke Gala on November 18, 2017 and hope that with continued research, Logan will thrive and live a long, healthy life.
