hey guys, welcome to luv's kitchen. And today i'm going to teach you how to make creme brulee.
so, i am a big fan of creme brulee.
because it is one of the most satisfying dessert ever.
i just love to make creme brulee.
so today i'm going to show you .
let's get baking
in a sauce pan, heat up 2 cup of cream over medium heat. Once it starts to simmer, turn it off
the heat. Then, we will get started on the eggs.
In a large bowl, we are going to add our sugar and eggs. No wastage because we are using
full egg white and yolk, together.
Once you add the eggs, make sure to whisk straight away.
Now, we're going to pour the cream gradually over the eggs mixture. You want to do it very
slowly. because you don't want to scramble your eggs.
Finally we are going to mix in 3/4 ( three quarter) tsp of vanilla.
Move on, we're going to pour this in to a a large measuring cup with a strainer on top.
And that's going to catch any bits of eggs or anything that u don't want into ur creme brulee
Then, we are going to divide into the ramekins. I have here 6 ramekins.
ok finally, we are going to add hot water. So, you want to add hot water about halfway
up the dish.
Bake your creme brulee at 150c for 40-45mins or until just set.
Our creme brulees are done. They're lovely and just set.
we're going to take them out of this water and set them aside to go cold.
Once it cool down, put in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Now, is the fun part. bruleeing the top of your creme brulee.
Sprinkle over a generous amount of sugar, about 1 tsp and then spread it all over the top
And then with your blowtorch, go around the edges,don't stay on one patch, just move around.
And you can see it all start to dissolve and become this beautiful golden color
So, there you have it our beautiful creme brulee.
