Our last night in Bangkok, we decided to have a meal
at Phaiboon Seafood Restaurant which is located about 20 minutes away
from a hotel located in Sukhumvit 11.
Thee lady in b.lue recommended some of their most popular dishes
We started off with a simple fried kai-lan with garlic.
Then came the hot plate, oyster and egg which is
o-chian. They are famous for their chili egg crab but you gotta bring your own
French loaf though and they will toast it for you.
So we are in Bangkok now, Tom Yam is a must. I find the Tom Yam
a little bit too sour but everyone else enjoyed it.
Next, we had another simple fried veggie dish, Kangkong cooked with
chopped chili and garlic. It spicier than it looks but goes really well with rice.
As for the fish, we order to types, a steam one
with garlic and chilli and one which is my favorite,
salt baked fish. The inside of the fish is stuffed with garlic
and spices, then, on the outside of the fish
is covered with rock salt and then sent into
baking. When we're served, the skin of the fish is removed
and we only at the meat of the fish.
